ohh one more thing, does anyone actualli own a gts4 auto? hows fuel consumption same as a auto gtst r32? and performance, like seat of pants feel is it good/decent? finally, is attessa on gts4's tough and durable, so should i expect things to break anytime now?

Hey guys gals, i have just sold my R32 gtst and now am thinking of stepping into a gts4 r32. THing is i am quite clueless when it comes to inspecting these cars in terms of the driveline (body and engine i presume would be same for any r32 gtst) what are some things i should know about when looking at a r32 gts4? this is in terms of the actual attessa system itself(driveline). Oh by the way the one i have in mind is auto too. thankyou.

sorry to hijack, how much did it cost to send it from the eastern states. I am thinking about buying a skyline in melbourne. did the seller handle the arrangements to get it transported or did you do it from perth? also i noticed ur car is quite low, any transport damage? the car i am thinking of getting has a bodykit.

exhaust for me: cannon N1 style muffler: 100 custom 3 inch cat-back mild steel straight thru piping (only two bendsin whole system!) - 150 cat: was already three inch- FREE Front pipe dump/pipe: 200 (Jshop) havent got this part for myself yet, just stating price total cost: 450 hearing it pop and fart everyday: priceless *miss my cannon system *

hey guys/gals, i have done a stereo install on my old silvia with a new deck using rca elads to connect deck to amp, but my skyline came with a oldish deck(cd stacker) pre 1999 and it doesnt have any RCA plugs. My questain is how do i connect a simple 2 channel amp to that deck?soemthing about high input and low input?? ( i am still a noob stereo installer) cheers for the help. the instructions of my amp arent very clear. btw the amp is gonna be connected to a cheapy sub. thanks

i ahve being told that putting R134a gas (the new gas) in our r32 compressors will make them sh*t themselves in no time. something to do with the new gas being heavier then the gas meant for it R12 seomthing like that. just thought u should be aware of that

me and my bro always let our cars warm up for 1 min, if temp needle is right at cold, then drive of slowly, shifting no higher then 3000rpm.. until temp needle is at normal indication. Keeping a auto skyline off boost is quite tricky, because at cold start, its running retarded timing too, so even the slightlest hill means it wants to at least get to 0 vaccuum. oh we both atm use pennzoil 15w 50w semi syn

oh i ALWAYS change oil and filter at 5000-6000km, i am interested in using a oil that genuinely cleans the engine, as i think 15years of japanese air must not have done it much good. (its done 86000..but we all know about kmz on skylines lol)

ok so what oil is best for a 16 year old rb20det? I have being using semi syn 15 w 50 or Pennzoil for a year now, but after reading all this i am beginning to think this oil aint really good for a engine my age? i hear conflicting reports that old engines shouldnt be using "thin" oil like 5w 30w etc, can someone clarify please? thankyou

the thread wasnt conclusive hence why i posted well i got the fuel gauge working again, rearthed, seems like maybe there is a backup ground for the fuel pump after. but still wouldnt mind a step by step guide on how to "disconnect" that fuel pump modulator

have no idea how RWC affects the price of your car...i aint from "that side" of oz but i am basically saying car price is about 10500 as is. but the smart thing would be take out bits worth taking out like stereo and wheels, replace them with standard items then sell it that way u can add them to ur next skyline or car. or sell the parts to gain some more $$

Hey guys as above i have a black R32 gtst auto that i am interested to sell. my car has done 86000km, comes with sunroof, all the usual skyline frills(even electronic front spoiler!) dark tinting (20%) and is lowered (springs) has IMPUL cat back exhaust and blitz style metal-mesh pod filter, and turbo timer and 6 cd stacker with kenwood and pioneer speakers. Bascially a nice daily driver stocker. Always serviced at 6000km. the only problem with it is it needs a cut and polish to bring up the paint again (still good and no rust or fade) and it does have a couple of scuff marks and pin dents that it came with from japan. There is a minor oil leak from rear of rocker cover (passenger side) but parts have being bought for that to be fixed soon. Iridium plugs are also going in soon (sitting at home ) contact number: 0413796439 ps plates unfortunately wont come with car! (my bro shot gun them already)
