  1. apologies for "hi-jacking" thread, but can anyone tell me if there is difference between torque output from a dyno and torque output from factory specifications? ie 34r is listed as having 400nm torque by nissan..

  3. Curiously does anyone have a regu 92-z system? Wondering if these older systems have the silenced in the rear cannon as well. I believe this was the model preceding the 06 & r system
  4. how many kms on the turbos? what car did this set up come from? (r32/r33/r34)
  5. Would running rich lower exhaust temperatures? i have never see 600 degrees C on my 34r(usually stays around 580) and idling the exhaust temp "switchs off" due to temperature going below 400 degress C. does this mean i am running rich on idle and generally a very rich tune (nismo stage 1 ecu)
  6. Hi all Is anyone on here using a HKS F-CON IS piggyback computer on their GTR? I have done a bit of reading up on these units and they appear to be quite a well developed system for making basic changes to fueling and timing on lightly modded vehicles. I am considering one as all i will have to tune it with is dump-back exhaust and air filters. I am wanting better fuel economy and a better state of tune (my 34R feels a bit "flat") am i wasting my time and money on this (there is one here for a 34r for sale which is why i am asking) or forget it and go full standalone management system?

  10. Its got nothing associated with SAU or SAUWA. I dont know what was ran a month ago, but this is the double skid pan. not the track at rac driving centre. Track is layed out using cones, and you drive around them.
  11. Heys all, Just putting it out there, i've got a 4 spots open for an ARVO double skid pan session at RAC's Driving Centre at Perth International Airport. Starts at 12.30, so you'd be required to be there by 12.15pm the latest. Finishes approx 4.30, but you may leave when you like. Cost is $110, non refundable unless you can find someone to take your spot. Payment would be required as soon as possible to confirm your spot. Would like payment, no later than 14th aug please for noobies: * You will need long sleeve shirt or jacket, long pants and covered in shoes and socks. * No loose items to be in cars, tyre pressures to be 4-5psi higher than standard * Helmets must meet the following accreditation- SNELL SA2000, SA2005, SFI 31.2A (US); and AS/NZS 1698:2006 (AS/NZS 1698) Cheers

  14. someone correct me if im wrong, but manuals and autos have different ecu's....so if you have an auto ecu, that could also play a part.
  15. i hope i am not hijacking too much but here goes. Is there anyone in perth that could work with a MINES ecu? i believe they are essentially a chipped factory ecu, like NISTUNE. since MINES ecus are tuned in japan for 100ron, has anyone heard of a MINES being remapped for 98ron? is it really worth a retune over 2 ron? application in question is R34 GTR and MINES ecu (stage 1, exhaust, filters and boost up approx 1 bar)
  16. is asking 400rwhp for a street driven(occasional skid pan etc) R34 RB26DETT asking too much from it internally. I am aware the R34 RB26 is the "strongest" of the bunch, but what are its limits? Is it safe to run a 34R with a exhaust(front pipe, cat, catback) change, pod filters, EBC @ 14 psi WITHOUT any changes to factory computer? for example one wouldnt dare do that to a WRX unless one had a rebuild/new engine on standby

Hi, is there any possiblilty of photos? i am from WA, so calling to discuss car is redundant without first having some photos to look at. however in the event that you do, as i am from western australia and do not require a RWC for registration, can the car be sold, less rwc and rego(in terms of price, as i am aware you can get your money back on rego and RWC) cheers Johan

    ***bump*** due to unforseen circumstances, one person has pulled out of the morning spot. Obviously this means 1 morning spot is up for grabs at $130.70. as stated it is a non refundable payment, that is required as soon as possible to secure your spot. cars attending the morning session include wrx, gtr, clubsports, s13, ute. cheers
