run the map first, make sure there are no directional errors (ie you write turn left but really mean turn right), make sure the map is easy to read, and also, by meeting at city west its already gonna attract cops, same to be said bout hills runs. just my 2c oh and its dd this w/e too

you do need a gtr reo bar, but even then it doesnt guarantee a perfect it. you have to remember, the gtr has wider front guards than a gtst, so automatically theres a lil discrepancy there. from a far, its not really noticable, but standing next to it, then yeah its visible. i have pic's of it, i'll post it up when i get a chance. personally its better of getting a fibreglass one..unless u can score a reo + bar for less than $350

it depends on how much ur willing to spend... at the end of the day, its ur car ur money...if u feel u would like to change engine then yes a halfcut would be the wisest option. if on the other hand, ur engine is still healthy, then y waste the money? there are alot of people/businesses on the forums that offer this service...use the search button hope that helps. to throw a few names: jap parts plus kyp auto c-red etc

correct me if im wrong, but arent forums there to provide other people with personal experiences? fine we dont work for the dpi, but i seems that u dont either, so what makes ur "2 cents" worth more than any one else who has posted their experiences and is just simply trying to help a fellow forum member out?

there is no point deregistering ur car for a yellow sticker. goin to cause you more hassles later. you still have to go through the pits anyways. yes it costs $80 something to take your car through and they check everything from ur parklights and license-plate lights operating properly, to rust, to steering boot cracks, ur seat belts, ur heater system, ur suspension (how stiff they are), ur tyre wear, and oil leaks. its pretty much luck of the draw. consensus is not to go welshpool but try midland or oconnor. dont bother going on a friday cuz every backyard mechanic trys to pass his car that day. rather pick middle of the week like tues or wed. i'd run through the car, check for leaks, cracks and stuff, and just try ur luck. if u fail u fail. but atleast u know exactly what needs to be fixed. goodluck.

after hearing bout a couple of crashes from hills runs and crap, i dont think it will be a good idea, seeing a some na drivers are p platers thinking the are invincible. i'd op for a long cruise like a coastals

heys i know rac are now doing dpi inspections, and alot of people have said its better than the pits. however, online, and on the phone they say they do not do modified cars..even with just an exhaust.. my question is, has anyone WITH mods done a dpi inspection with rac? cheers

dont forget the little things, child restraints, seat belts in good nick, all boots not cracked etc..i've seen alot of people go to the pits, focusing on their mods, only to get rejected for a blown headlight, rear brake lights not working etc.
