  1. i thinks its more of a case that the vic government doesent want to afford it anymore
  2. lets hope in doesent get rezo'ed out like all the other tracks
  3. so that is not considered drifting? i know some ppl who booked a day there only to be told no drifting????
  4. http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/story/0...521-952,00.html This is the story from the courier mail newspaper about a new motorsport venue on the cards for Queensland. i hope you all vote in favour of it in the "does qld need another racetrack?" poll in the article attached.
  5. have searched....not found what is the a/r on the hks 2510's twin turbos exhaust housing? std turbos are 0.48? is the 2510's bigger than std ie: 0.6? cheers sara
  6. no not gtr bov's just a silly cheap atmo job
  7. ok cheers guys i did a search on chuffing and shuffling(who would have guessed that) seem that because AFM's are not an issue as i run MAP sensor and TPS only, the next logical thing is that the turbos are making boost too easily, no problem
  8. they are t28 turbos with equal length to a collector just before the I/C The BOV is just infront of the T/B and works ok on back off, ie theres no flutter on back off just when the engine is running slowly off boost, sounds like water dripping slowly onto to a hot bbq plate
  9. the skyline plenum we messed about on a flow bench changing the angle of the neck, and the bellmouths are of a design (in theory) that the air flows around the B/M that protude into the plenum so airflow isn't biased to any cylinder, ie pressure equalises before the runner draws on it, works for N/A, but ive only had it going a short time on a turbo toyota.
  10. we looked into this when i chopped our plenum and i found that bouncing the air flow off the back of the chamber helped to distibute the air more evenly, this was acheived by curving the T/B neck toward the cam belt cover more. The engine is in pices now and no 6 piston shows no signs of detonation. i have built another plenum for another engine, a toyota, with bellmouths to eliminate these problems too, so far so good.
  11. Hi everyone I'm looking for opinions about twin turbo setups and the possibity of one turbo surging back through the I/C pipes onto the other turbo? I noticed while my car was on the dyno the there was a faint intermitant fluttering noise from the turbos at low revs, was this the turbos blowing back on each other? If so could this cause the exhaust wheel to slow down in the path of the exhaust gases and become dislodged? as this id what happened eventually to the r32 gtr turbos, or is that just the fate of ceramic wheels any ideas or discusion would apreciated cheers sara
  12. for custom application, to bolt onto the front of gtr t28's to air filters, or standard ones to be modified any help or info appreciated
