R32 gtr front brake on r32 gtst
couchboy replied to couchboy's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
So after having a think about what I was going to do I went with the banjo fitting option. As I'm in New Zealand I end up getting all the bit from Franklin performance for $200. Its better than the what I had before, but will have to put some tape around the ducting and once the car is going will send it and see how it goes 🏎💨🤙. -

Cheers guys for ideas, gives me something to think about. @PranK my local track has one hairpin turn and also street sprints I want to do have hairpin turns so a few. -
Hi guys I'm after some advice types of brakelines. I've got got some r32 gtr calipers on the front of my r32 gtst race car. The problem I've got is the brake line is rubs on the brake ducting. My question is, is there any other type of line that will work like a banjo bolt type, it needs to be short so it does rub. I've got the gk tech hard line delete at the moment.

Shifter slips past Snap ring
couchboy replied to couchboy's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Me again 🤣, curclip, is there one size fits all or does the 25det neo box have a curtain curclip, bonus point for a part number. I do have one but it does shrink enough to be able to fit in the hole, think came out of a rb20. -
Shifter slips past Snap ring
couchboy replied to couchboy's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Update: took the cup out to check for size and is correct size. I think it just needed more lube as it is seated correctly now and can put the second snap ring in under the one that goes in the groove 🥳. cheer guys 🤙 -

Cheers @Duncan for the diagram I can't even fit the second snap ring, if its suppose to go in the same grove. On the off chance do you know the size of both bushes the one I have at the moment is 15.84mm off the veneer's. -

Cool, good to know cheers. -
Hi Guys I've got a brand new 25det neo gearbox and just installed the brand new shifter, put the snap ring in and with how tight the shifter and snap ring are if you wriggle the shifter it will come out. My question is are all snap rings the same or does the 25 neo gearbox have a wider snap ring or is it possible for the bush on the bottom of the shifter to be the wrong one. Shifter was brought separately. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
-
Hi guys Is it possible to turn the shifter around (photo below) so it sits further forward, gearbox isn't in a r34 it's in a r32 racecar. Cheers

Maybe contact the Michelle from extreme gtr surely they would of had the same problem.

Hi guys I'm in the process of getting my tail shaft modified to suit a big box (rb25) going into a r32 and the shop has emailed me saying is going to be cheaper to make a single piece as the car is track use only is there any cons to going single piece? Cheers

couchboy replied to couchboy's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Cheer GTSBoy, one comment I got was the nut is the same size as the gtr axle nut so use that, it was 206nm to 275nm. -
Hi guys Does anybody know the tourqe specs for the rear axle hub nut on a r32 gtst? I've got lots of different answers from tight as you can get it, to 206nm- 275nm and just enough so you can get the split pin in. Cheers
