  1. Car went up on carsales yesterday but you claim its no longer for sale....Whats the go?
  2. Are you talking about a 32 GTR VSPEC2 in Silver on Carsales by any chance?
  3. WTD: 96, 97 or 98 R33 GTR V-Spec in Midnight Purple As title states i'm after a 96, 97 or 98 R33 GTR V-Spec in Midnight Purple, must be under 100,000 kms, import and de-registration papers required, no rust or any accident history. I'm located in Melbourne, Victoria but happy to travel for the right car. Sizable budget for the right car. PM with details.
  4. I have. Just wanted an insight before inspecting. The owner wont have any more information on the car until Monday. Though perhaps the car might be on consignment or something.
  5. Does anyone know anything about the 95 R33 GTR in MNP @ V-SPEC in Melbourne? I've got a feeling they have the car on consignment as their knowledge on the vehicle was limited. I would like to get in touch to find out a little bit more about the car and what sort of documentation will be provided to back up the car. Cheers!
  6. Heya guys, does anyone know anything about these two cars? Both have been advertised on carsales for awhile, both seem to be reasonably priced for today market and both have disappeared off carsales then re added a few weeks later. https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-Skyline-1994/SSE-AD-4481016 https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-Skyline-1997/SSE-AD-3945941 I'm wondering if anyone has spoken to the owners or even better actually I section either of the above. I could be interested in either of the two but located in Victoria. Just want the behind the scenes before calling. Cheers in advance.
  7. I'm also in the process or making a decision between importing an 93-94 R32 (grade 4 or 4.5, 60-80,000km vehicle) or spending similar money on a 97-98 (grade 4 or 4.5, 60-80,000km vehicle) R33 GTR. Like most GTR enthusiast out there, i agree that the R32 is a more desirable option however i think the prices have already risen to the point where they will remain now for another 12 months. The attraction with the R33 is newer car, slightly more refined drive line and a lower chance of spending up big on wear and tear items being a newer car. Thoughts?
  8. It isnt......
  9. jaysevu - I didn't mate, like you i backed off completely when i saw the grading. I made contact with another importer i know and asked him what his thoughts were. He came back and gave me an overview of what he found out about the vehicle. When it was imported the car left with 17" BBS wheels and an electronic boost controller fitted; both of which are no longer fitted to the vehicle. He was also under the impression that the car had been hit in the rear and repaired however i was told by the seller something different. Im not too concerned about the repairs, provided they have done a good job then that all that really matters. My biggest issue is the grading, although it may have only been a minor repair i think its enough to scare off potential sellers in the future.....
  10. What are people thoughts on a grade RA imports? I was also considering a tidy example from Heartbear car - https://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Nissan-Skyline-1994/OAG-AD-14565738/?Cr=3 I have received the de-registration papers to verify kilometers and the auction papers but was a little concerned spending up being on a grade RA. What are peoples thoughts?
  11. That 2nd GTR that was advertised for $35,000 was too good to be true. I contacted the seller within the hour of advertising and advised him that i could pay him a deposit subject to an inspect that day. Never heard back. The following morning it was marked as sold. Never heard back from the seller......That was a genuine $50k car...
