Lots more added, -
The pintara was a boat anchor.... but got GREAT long distance economy for such a big car (like 800kms plus). I'll get a pic for you later - I'm sure it'll make you drool. My dad doesn't drive that hard he worries about gearboxes (almost a grandpa). He drove my car a few times and wanted to buy it except that being a 2 door, it was ackward for him to get in and out of (being on the senior side of life). He did however put a 5 inch cannon on the back so it sounds tough. I'd really like an old school skyline - say late 70's. Anyone know if the current running gear swaps in (RB silvertops).

PM answered. Pics and more stuff up tonight. -
My dad sold his fab 1989 Pintara (RB30) 8 plug 4 cylinder, and got a WRX, so you have to admit, twisted as it is its a great upgrade. But another Line would have been better of course. I'd like a 31 just as a dirty, nasty I don't care about you drifter though.... Anyhow, we fight because we all just want R34 GTR's :burnout:

Mine is turning into a weekender.. I live too close to work now! Of a weekend Id start mine, drive it out of the garage, close the garage door, check the mail, get back in a drive off most times. I spose its about 30 secs all up. As everyone had said I nurse it around for the first 10 kms or so, then into it.

I knew you'd like that Leech. I wouldn't trade the 32 for one, but I'm looking for a 4 door 33 as a "serious, normal - unmodded" car (which I wasn't considering) I was that happy with it. The 33 blowing flames out the back looked tough as. :burnout:

pics or ban people.... what sig?

I didn't see it on the news.. but that's even funnier than before!!! Imagine it was your Skyline
-
Trustsy ol Trust my friend, only way to go, but just do a front mount

@ Sin Thats a cracker. Anyhow, I drove AMR85's 33 the other day - I felt so dirty, torquey but dirty. It was sweet as though, and not as whale as I'd expected. Both cars are an awesome drive
-
Awesome. PM me once you've got a R32 GTS-T one, they look the goodies mate and I want it. Cheers!

Out here there are plenty of bogans. Usually in utes. I had a 5.0 VT (or whatever) ute next to me in a dual lane 60 area. He stood on it chirping the wheels and taking off, then he'd slow down wait for me and do it again. Then would call me a ricer (my car ain't rice at all), or a homo. So I kept on cruising along until we got into an 80 zone, and stood on mine a little, just enough to stop him pulling ahead, then I'd brake. No way I was going to speed for him. So he swerved AT me, as he was shitty. Thats when I ate him all up. Then we got to the corners, and to this day its the last I saw of him To me, swerving is poor form.

Call me a fool, which engine does it fit or are they all the same? -
Running at all more like. I found thats even when I was last in Canberra the turbo was failing. I bought it off some guy hear who's name I've lost too. Pitty, I'd like to send it back. I suspect it was never even balanced looking at how it failed. Yeah, we all have our downtime, and being buddies with the shop means things are cheaper - just take longer. Turbo is with Denco Turbo's now and they think it'll be right tommorow. And my commonwhore's diff (yes, I'm a closet Holden driver) sounds like its about to fall out.. bloody cars. Running at all more like. With this and the splitfires I should have fixed everything... Famous last words I know. So assuming it all works I'm there, if not I'll sit at home and watch my DVD.

Depends on my turbo being back in time... but I'm trying!!

The RB20DET with its cheap bits is a top idea. The RB25DET is overrated anyhow, the torque difference isn't THAT huge. I borrowed Adams 33 last night, and while it was sweet and you could pick the torque- its wasn't the gap I expected (given how hard people cane RB20's on here.) OR, build an RB30DET... mmmmmm Rb30. The 150 odd kgs are nothing really - just up your boost a bit to compensate!! More like 5.0 V8 beware, not lancers

Pending size measurments I'm in
