  1. Hey SupaFly, I don't think after a long flight I'd notice a few extra kgs really... especally if I hadn't seen the bag in hours. Also I have some family I'm related to closley I'm not so proud of, it doesn't mean I'm a criminal, or should be treated any differently in a court. If Corby's day had 2 grams of pot 30 years ago, who cares? I really don't beleive that she is guilty at all. I think that there is a pretty obvious story here, especally considering the drug ring that was recently busted. The court system over there sounds fully crazy, and that fact the judges didn't even look at the evidence given by our government not only shows a lack of respect, but a judge whom isn't interested in the case. It appears in their eyes that they need someone to punish for a given crime. During the reading the judge said that Corby had carried the drugs through custom, therefore she was guilty. Even though she didn't know it was there. it may not be the right person - justice has somehow been completed.
  2. I don't think bombs will help. The media has beat this thing up into a huge event, rather than another drug trial. I havn't heard anything to make me think she is guilty, but that might be because the media has only shown one side. I doubt she knew about the drugs, but she was found guilty of transporting it through a customs area. I don't think taking pot to Bali is a good idea, I mean its apparently cheaper to buy over there. It like me going to the US, and trying to import Kangaroo's into Australia loosing heaps of cash. The laws in Bali vary from ours, and under this system she was found guilty by a judge who has never found anyone innocent in a drug trial in over 20 years! But if she wasn't a hot young aussie, we wouldn't even know about it. She'll end up back in Australia I imagine, if she isn't given a pardon.
  3. Thats about the shpae of it - however I've found a combination of hiding mods, being polite and not breaking the law appear to go a long way..
  4. Check to see if any of the aftermarket ones will fit.. I had a bosch one on my old car and it was tons better than the stocker...
  5. As I said, our cops like your money in NSW... yum yum Your engineers certificates are worth bugger all here, and they'll still book you if they choose to. You can wave it, shove it, and put it up your but for all the good it'll do. You'll probably get the defects cleared once the RTA sees it, but you'll still be there. As far as I'm aware, if a policeman wants to defect your car they will. I heard a story about the nats one year where they got a guy because his windscreen wiper rubbers were not in good enough nic. Also have a "mouthy" acquantence who manged to get his 12 month old comonwhore defected. So, unless you car is dead stock, you could in theory get done. MMMM MMMM Money
  6. Well, to be honest I don't know... but Squealy's GTR put out 260 rwkws on a cranky day. My car will splutter its way to 190ish rwkws, although it still can't do it on the road without new coils (soon as its boosts over 12 -14 psi, it dies... Nenguns have had a hold up) ARM85 may make 120 rwkws if he is lucky... he he he Ummm... there is a GT30 equiped VL turbo I'd expect would make some power. Plus a lot of the usual V8's and stuff (out here everyone loves their commonwores).. That said last night I had a real struggle getting past a falcon (EB-ED 1993ish)... it had some balls Hopeing that Stolly will bring his R33 GTR, apparently is got some big nuts.
  7. Hey guys, two days to go, and only one ACT rep (camma).... I knew you guys were soft and scared of my toy car
  8. Public Servant also, cept I'm a child psyc...
  9. Welcome to NSW, we really like everyone's money here, its tastes like chicken. NSW police can at times be a bunch of revenue raising a%^holes. If its not doing you for 63 km/h in a 60 zone (Which they can do, ever though ADR regs say your brand new car's speedo only needs to be within 10%) its defecting you for something they made up, or heard on the grapevine. And they'll book anyone from any state. Pretty much if you are on NSW roads, your car should comply with NSW rules. We all know what they target, cover that up and they may let you go free.. however leave those pods out, the exhaust at 150db and the boost controller hanging out and your money is thiers. I've noticed usually people have at least one thing they *knew* was an obvious defect. The exhaust thing is harder, short of getting a custom system tucking right up under the car (heating that floor), big pipes just hang down... I've been pulled over and "bonneted" twice out here now, both times the policeman just looked confused - asked a lot of questions I told him I didn't know "I don't know mate, I'm not a mechanic I just drive it" and been allowed to go. I've hidden anything that I think doesn't look stock, and boxed my pod.. also got a free flowing but quieter exhaust... I love shifting into 4th and just cruising by without a second look.
  10. I thought "dedicated" gas systems could make great power, cost the same (if not more) as you use more gas but the higher octane rating actually helps.
  11. Better the devil you know than a whole new evil devil that you don't... Especally if you are just going to modify the next car.
  12. Its great, just have a crack..... I warn you that it can be addictive though. I'd be in, but blah blah no money.
  13. I have a brand name larger cooler on my car, and my bro has a hybrid copy of similar size.. with similar boost and mods (before the new turbo) there didn't seem to be a lot in it. I imagine once you start pushing big power it matters, and that slightly better design may shine or something. But I can't see how it could be $1000 better
  14. Hey Sqeels, I would very much like a picture! PM me and let me know you addy etc
  15. Bumpity bump On this Saturday!
  16. Yeah, who cares about plates when you can buy power NSW is such a rip off I've still got my yellow plates from import. I'd have to say I wouldn't know what that plate was unless I saw it in context (ie, around Darths neck or something).
  17. I checked the other day, and put around 45 - 50 L in after 300 or so kms of driving if I take it easy (city). So, its pretty poor but I love it. On the open road its tons TONS better, I can get to Sydney from here on a tank easy (500 + kms)
  18. Bumpity bump..... On this Saturday...
  19. Good work! I'll have to do that one day (I'll get around to moving)- how do those guys feel about top mounted TD-06's anyhow?? he he
  20. I'm pretty sure the silver badges were a factory option... You could also get them in gold from memory..
  21. Yeah, in wagga. so excited. Squeelies car broke again - you'll be please to hear
  22. I paid $500 for a stocker with a different large rear bolted on, better than stock, all steel and no lag. Awesome Thats the most I'd pay for a hi-flow. For $2000 with some hard shopping you can pick up a trust kit.... a real bolt in.. Have a look at Nengun...
  23. Its so hard to listen to these whale songs... gives me a headache. *sigh* More power than you Mr extra 1/2 litre Don't believe me? Come on down and SHOW me biaaaaatch :Bang: Nengun reakons next Friday for my coils, so It'll be touch and go if I can beat a stocker (I'm loving 1/2 throttle). Also, my car may not even run as it looks like we'll have WELL over our limit of cars wanting a run... and like I said I'm there every f$%^&ng week. camma and other travlers get spots reserved of course. Have some larger V8's comming for fun
