  1. I've got an R34 GTR M spec Nur that pulls a 7.9something when you set it up. I'll check when I get home.
  2. I'm just glad to hear they are fixing the weapon mate, its what they should do - and thinking themselves lucky it didn't hurt anyone when it happend. It way to hot a '32 to be off the road! It could've been a lot worse. Some companys will do nothing as I've found.
  3. I got the cat today, so yay, thats something. After last time there is no way my car will be in their workshop ever again. I wouldn't want them to fix it. I put a thread in the NSW members area asking what people think, I like the letter idea though - mind you EVO made it very clear I was not getting any cash back. Anyhow my advise to anyone is check any work you have done, look at things and ask questions!
  4. Cool as, will have to catch you guys of an evening for a cruise.
  5. I have to say Heydon at HP Race Engines in Wagga just tuned my car and did a fantastic job. A mate of mine actually dropped his GTR off here last week for work, and my car is running just awesome. Prices are not bad either. Itsa bit of a trip for you guys, but just letting you know.
  6. Hi Gents, Yeah, I asked around yesterday, and can DEFINATLEY bring 4 people, 2 skylines... thats without ARM85 who'll have someone with him plus a car. There is another 4 or 5 lines new in town I'll chase this weekend. If one of them goes thats already 7-8 people. 4 cars, Albury will have a few people there at least, and it sounds like Canberra has at least 3 cars which are solid. I might just bump the ads threads again, and see what happens. Thats a few at least - enough to go lcose to getting our numbers..... If everyone brings a buddy/girlfriend/wife/ kids/lover/boyfreind/interested person/skyline enthu or whatever if I missed something, numbers of people would build up pretty quickly. I have to say tally ho gents. We're off to the hills. Maybe get onto NSW and VIC executive to get things going there way. 6 weeks is good notice. Maybe we should just start to plug. I think it'll get going. Maybe WE should put our deposits in..... he he he Only thing is the camp needs some money soon (end of month).
  7. The XR6T is a family car trying to be a sports car. The R34 GT-T 4 door is a sports car that fits the family :burnout: I have a mate with an XR6T ute, goes great. Been in the shop a lot though for a new car. He had front rotors, a gearbox bearing and a problem with the tailgate closing..
  8. Can he tune local computers, like the wolf 3d?
  9. Hi y'all, Just wondering if any of you guys are heading over to the rally of Canberra, I'll be there for the weekend and would like to catch you guys for a cruise and all that.. Should be a few out I'd think (there sure was last year).. Is rally a dirty word on a skyline forum, usually associated with a rival company ?? :burnout:
  10. Yeah, I think we need to get a little better organised. Its time for deposits people... Can the organising group somehow get in touch with each other?
  11. Yeah, everytime its different - but its safe to assume thats usually a resonable pace. 27 - 28ish.. I just want more power for happy fun sliding :burnout: They kinda bog in..
  12. Ok here we go... where not to go Again, this is just the truth. I'm not slandering anyone here. I got a quote from EVO to get some work done - nearly $4000 worth (Front mount, pump, regulator - the usual first power stuff), looked ok and I thought I'd get it done (before I found the forums). When I picked my car up it had rubber in the rear gaurds. I was pretty suss of that, and wasn't offered an explination. Anyone got any ideas? They told me it had 176 kws (flywheel) which I doubt, it was running WORSE than before. I was charged $500 more than my quote, which was not explained. Then, on the way home my boost controller blows (power down, no lights in the box). Im going WTF?? Get home, find there is no gromet for the wiring. Its of course shorted on the body. Get it on a hoist, no hi flow cat that I paid for, although mine had been gutted. Was charged $400 for this. They were not happy that I found this, and claimed it was a hiflow. Only way I could prove it was to measure the inlets and outlets, which were 2 1/2 inch. After many calls they are sending me a part apparently, however I will not see any labour. Oh, also left 3 boost leaks, Boost gauge stopped working after 2 weeks (again, no grommet) It caused a rethink of the way I wanted to make power, however it wasn't a cheap lesson. Play with care. Check any work anyone does.
  13. Dyno tuning is money well spent Yeah - I looked at going to consumer affairs, but right now I'm just hoping I have a part in the mail. Its better than the nothing I'll get otherwise.

  15. Thats sounding like too much fun. I like karting, and would like to hand the other clubs their asses back I can do a 27sec at that indoor/outdoor track, is that the one you are talking about?
  16. I like either car, but they are different cars for different purposes. Have a look at what you'd like the car to do, and see which suits better I personally like the skyline, but thats a combination of looks, size, taste and use. I'd sure have an S15 NEXT to my line
  17. Mine is being tuned today, and with a hi flow turbo think it'll strain to get 200 rwkws, with all the mods you've listed as well. I'd expect around 260 - 280 hp with the new mods you've listed, but thats what you already had......
  18. Hows the deposit situation going??
  19. I've got a like new set in NSW, prolly not a lot of help but they'll go cheap
  20. I had a set on my line for a while, and they seemed like any other low quality tyre, kinda sandshooish but legal. Flogged them without mercy, never had any dramas other than a lack of smoke, grip and cred
  21. I had a poke around, and it looks like the real deal... now all I need is about 400 more horsepower, the entry fee, a car in the right country.....
  22. Ahhh.. I get it Anyhow, none of the cars appear to have as much power on paper as they used to..
  23. Hey Guys, Give me better direcions where to meet you than that and I'm in...
  24. Original is the way to go for sure, you can also make the car lower for that ultra phat look
  25. I've got a 888 KW GTR, its a 34 V spec II Nur, which I changed the oil in as soon as I bought I've got a few around the 700 - 800 mark though. Anyone know what the 34 N1 ends up with? 30% Complete, yeah baby
