Mid Feb would be good - hopefully will cool a bit. Hey Trident, I had a walk around LH camp the other day, that place would be great for a large scale meet later in the year. There would be parking for as many cars as you could think of, and being so isolated it offers a degree of saftey. Maybe a Autumn/Spring meet? Good time of year for some mountain cruises......

Hey all. I've just purchased an oil cooler, and was wondering where people were plumbing them in. My tuner had two thoughts, the first is to oil the oil just prior to it going into the turbo, the other the cool the oil post turbo before it goes back into the motor... Just interested in what people are doing.

Hey guys, Just found this post.... Laurel Hill is a great venue (I had a relative that used to mange the place). I'm not sure of pricing but will try to find out today. Wagga will be mid 40's during January, but if we based ourselves in the mountains you can expect it would be somewhat cooler... after all, Laurel Hill is 1500 metres higher than Wagga. I think we should all head over to Fatz track day, I'm going and think it would be great to get some country cars out there. The Nat's weekend in Canberra is another good option, or just a cruise there at some stage. I head over there heaps to cruise and enjoy some good roads.. I'll let you ACT guys know next time I'm over there.. Narrandra drags will be hot as, but I'd still go... So yeah, get a general consensus - but I'd have to say either Canberra for the roads, or Larel Hill for some mountain coolness I'd say Canberra has less ummm.. hassels. in a blue way....

I'm guessing the leak doesn't apply to the 32?? I'm not really into schoolgirls, although that was funny. I didn't actually want to change the valve, but a few places I spoke with, and magazine articles (which I'm aware are trying to you sell stuff) have said that once you look at changing the turbo, its time for a valve. I didn't think it ran true at all. I also had a guy from a workshop (an evil workshop) telling me that a valve should be second after the exhaust for mods..... come on!!

Hi all, I know this may well have been looked at before, but I just can't find it anywhere. When do you need to fit a BOV really, if you don't care about the noise. Is there a rule of thumb for power or boost or am I just being mislead. I'm about to put a hiflow in my RB20, and I'm pretty sure I don't need one - but I'd like to know when I'll need to... Hey, that not quite fair.... they are not just lag monsters... I'm in the middle of upgrading my rb20 and its been ok so far - I havn't actually changed the turbo yet though I'm chasing 200krws. Any recomendation for something with little lag that can do this? When I say 200, I don't mean "oh I think an RB25 can do that".. I mean a REAL 200 rwkws.

Yeah, I am. I think Adelong, Tumut, Gandagai, Junee and back to Wagga is a pretty good run - but I'll go wherever. .... :kick:
