Its way too nice for wrecking. Its pretty well set up, and the motor is fine - I'd even consider slapping a turbo on it. I was offered 3k today, but I just don't know if I want to sell it, she's so much fun. But an R32 GTargh keep calling me.

Hey everyone, I'm thinking of selling my drift car - its just not getting enough use and its pretty stiff for a daily drive. I bought it off Fatz who also helped me set it up Its a 1987 r31 Skyline sedan (Aussie delivered) Manual Red S13 Silvia front brakes Coilovers (They are HD system mid range ones, can't remember the name) Adjustable steering arms Sparco wheels Recaro seats (ok, they are fakes but work well and meet the regulations) Autotechnica Steering wheel The chrome is painted black - awesome. S3 round tail lights and all the rear stuff the match (looks WAY better) All the gauges work, but the odometer and trip thingo don't. 2 1/2 inch exhust and hi flow cat (extractors come with the car, but are not fitted right now) 11 months NSW rego. To drift properly you'd need to weld / LSD / locker the diff and give it a touch more power (maybe a nos shot). Even as it is it slides like a champ, really well balanced and easy to control I sued a weldy which has been replaced by the original diff. Its got a few minor dents and scuffs but has been my daily for over 18 months and hasn't let me down. The gearbox and diff both seem in good conditon, and the engine is strong. Would consiber swaps to equal cash value, it'd have to be manual and rear wheel drive though. I'm not sure what its worth - $3500?? So, make me an offer if you are keen. Looks awesome - love the GTR rear end.... I like the blue on silver - its a good highlight colour without being too over the top IMO:)

Hey guys, You are correct, I've run back to back dyno sessions with Ultimate and Optimax about 3 years ago, and found we could lean on my old RB20 much harder on the BP feul. I'm not sure of what the difference was overall power wise - its wasn't like heaps - but it appeared that the quality of the BP feul was higher, and consistantly higher

I really wish that you could do something about this -0 as there is nothing worse than being ripped off with a car with low low kays, to find out at best its average kays. I'm not sure you are going to be able to do anything. You'll probably cop a whole heap of "We didn't knows" from people - and everyone WILL pass the buck. The yard in Japan will say its the importers, the Importers will say its the dealer - or auction or something. I wish you all the best, but will be suprised if anyone does anything for you - even though thats total crap.

I've pulled it off - thus why I know the cable is hanging out. I have no idea how it works - my previous cars have either had electrics, or an arm type arrangement for the slider. I've never seen one with cables before...

Hey guys, I've just picked up an 87 R31 GX. Its got manual windows - and they are stuck, both handle and the glass. I've had a bit of a look - and saw there is a cable hanging out "from the top" which looks to be in the wrong place... any suggestions / information or help greatfully accepted Cheers oscar

Agreed +2. Always just used copper and made stacks of power. I never really had any issues with them, and replaced them every 12 months or so I used them with splitfires though, which kicked ass. Cheers Anthony
