How big a oil cooler did you go...? I have a big setrab core waiting to go in mine

Yeah only 3.0. If I thought about it more would have gone a 3.4. Had it half grout filled and a steel gear added in the oil pump.

Has anyone seen a bonnet like this before..? Or a vent setup like this to cut into a bonnet..? I have a spare bonnet that needs to be modified.

I got my engine back from Proengines last week. Just need to put it back together and get it running.

Im running a tricked up C4 but would still like to use a 5 speed again one day. I think the extra torque from a 3lt would still be fine with a taller diff but my turbo would be a little laggy. lol

I will see how the temp goes and maybe add in a 2nd cooler if needed. I will run a electric fan on the cooler and switch on when needed as it will have a hard life when it first sees the track again

Yeah I guess I will just have to see how it goes. Thought someone might have been able to give a heads up on running temps.

I have the biggest after market cooler I could get. My car was originally manual so dont have the heat exchanger in the radiator. Where could I find a thermostat kit for the auto..? I have seen that chart on the protrans site that the auto came from. Im just worried that it will over heat and not have the volume of fluid to keep the auto cool. Did you have a temp gauge and if so what were cruising temps compared to giving it a hard time..?
