  6. Im starting to lose interest in the RB engines as everyone is doing them. I currently have a 26/30, T51r and C4 auto in my R33. The engine has just been freshened up and will be back in the car soon. Old tune @ 24psi made 475rwkw. Are gtr parts able to be fitted into the M35...? As there is currently a powerglide/gtr auto box being developed. So the VQ35 is pretty weak in stock form...? I havent done a search but is there upgraded, pistons, rods and cranks available..? Is there much room in the bay for a high mount single setup like a GT4202r.
  7. Im new to the stagea world. lol How do the M35s handle power upgrades..? When will the VQ35DE version be able to be imported..? Or does the VQ25det handle engine mods and make good gains..? What would be the best starting point and would prefer awd.

  11. Thats tough. Make sure you strap the R35 down tight so this doesnt pull the trailer out from under it.
  12. This pressure bypass is all that kept my engine running. My engine still ran fine, no rattles or any bad noise. It was just all the metal in the oil that worried me. It wasnt worth the risk to fix the lines and keep running the car so I had it pulled down.
  13. Cant think of the brand but worked well on the previous engine when fitted correctly. lol I now have a big setrab cooler and will be getting bigger lines and new fittings
  14. That sounds like what was done to mine. After a few power runs at 8000+rpm and 475rwkw we checked to see how hot the cooler was.... It was cold. We drained some oil out and it was full of metal. Towed car away, had engine pulled out, found the bent crank. Now just waiting to get it rebuild again. If only I had my tuner fit the engine instead of another local so called "mechanic"
  15. Double check that they are the right way as my previous workshop hooked the lines to the wrong side of the oil filter and restricted oil flow. End result was a bent crank.

  22. I have some Blitz 1000cc injectors and twin entry rail to suit RB26 if anyone is interested. Also where in Tassie can I have my turbo checked out. Just want to make sure its good to go on the new engine
  23. Spool have made a RB34 kit. Think that was only 6k
  24. I was told that a 1 piece shaft had more chance to warp at high rpm and that the 2 piece had more strength
