Sounds like you have done what im planning on. Was he good to deal with? Any chance I could have a spec list of your setup and how much it can flow? Am now looking at bigger cams but not sure whats "to big". It will be on a 25/30 with T51r and a 8200 - 8500 rev limit. -
What was the cost for the conversion FineLine??? Also any idea of freight costs from Tassie to Bribane??

Did you ever get this tuned??? Am looking into bigger cams and solid lifter conversion at the moment. Have Tomei 256 cams already. And have just has some issues on the tune with my 25/30 and had a rattle thru the top end after a few power runs @ 8200rpm. What is the cost for a solid lifter setup???

Yeah for sure. Its a massive difference. The poor old 25 did a great job to make 399 a few years ago. Even more the 30 with the big turbo is still more responsive than the 25 with the twins. And a 30 @ 8000rpm sounds tough. Still havent turned on the gas yet, will only run the 50shot till i learn how to drive it then the 175shot will go in.

Had a slight rattle in the top end, maybe lifters. Doesnt sound anything major. Plus there is power loss from the auto. Will lean on the boost to about 25psi when rattle fixed. Comes on boost well for a dirty great turbo. lol

Can you post up dyno sheet??? 1547nm of torque on 15psi???? Thats a shit load of torque. My 400rwkw RB25 had just under 500nm.

New Turbo Setup, Cant Control Boost

I have heard the same about the 6boost manifolds as the wastegate comes of the collector and doesnt flow properly....? Either way I bought a 6boost manifold and will find out in a week or so how it goes. I have a 60mm turbosmart gate on my T51r setup. -

Top gear in my auto is the same ratio as 4th gear in a 5speed. So I want something to drop the revs down quite a bit. I want to be able to go on a cruise and not have to stop at every servo on the way. Had anyone changed the ratio??? I will have a rev limit of about 8200

I have 1 on my Nissan Terrano 4x4. Turbo diesel. Its got a modified HKS turbo running 17psi and it seems great. It has a fan on the radiator that runs full time and works a treat in the bush. They are expensive tho thats the only down side.
