  2. Boost Automotive; MODS; Fmic, twin T3/T4 turbos, 1000cc injectors, cams, plenum Power Figure; 399 rwkw @ 17 psi, Price; Think it was about $400 ECU; Haltech E11v2 Service; great. This was my old RB25 and will take the new setup to him also. That is all the same goodies on a 25/30
  3. Looking at 650hp+ i guess but then i want something that can make more power if i want it. My goal is to run low 10s maybe a 9 and then go from there.

  7. Hey mate. Whats ignition system did you run or was it just stock?? Also do you still have the plenum??? Is it a geniune Greddy or a copy??
  8. Yeah i might run a 14 if i back off at half track.... 400rwkw is great fun on the street. Thats if you dont like your tyres As for the clutch go for a Jim Berry race clutch mine held great and never slipped even with 3rd gear cooks (drop clutch in 3rd gear) and even clutch kicks in 4th gear @ 100kph. As for gearboxes I have a 25 box here if you want a spare.

  10. A mate of mine is building a LX hatch with a 26/30 and powerglide. Its a long term project but will be tough when its finished.

  15. Thanks for that Lithium. It looks like the GT42 will go alright. Has anone used a GT45 on a 3lt?? And the T51r has been done before. But they do sound awesome. What are my options from a different brand of turbo. Turbonetics???
  16. Im looking at a GT42 or GT45 for my 25/30. I was talking to Kyle (6boost) and he said this. The GT42 will make full boost around 5000rpm with a 1.05 rear, the 4508 would be about 6000rpm, So now i need to choose a turbo. What are peoples opinions on either turbo??
  17. Ive just built a 25/30 and want to upgrade the turbo to something a bigger. Currently i have twin T3/T4s and am thinking about something like a GT42 or GT45 or T51r. Does anyone run any of these turbos on a 25/30 or 26/30? I want to use this on the street but mostly drags. What revs do they start making boost and when is full boost?? Im not really worried about a bit of lag as i will be running nos to help bring it on boost. I will have a rev limit around 8000rpm
  18. Am thinking about selling the twins so if anyone is interested send me a pm. They are twin T3/T4s custom manifold and 48mm turbosmart gate. Will come with filters, oil and water lines and dump pipes. They need to make way for something bigger
  19. I had a 400rwkw RB25 and was so laggy with twin turbos. Have the same head and turbo setup on a 30 bottom end and the extra torque and drivability is great off boost. The bottom end has been built pretty strong so should still see 8000rpm so i havent really lost much in the rev department as the 25 use to spin to 8200rpm
  20. Ive just had a 25/30 built for my 33. I used my 25det head and had to have some of the oil gallaries drilled and tapped in the front of the head. And the oil drains in the head opened up. You will love the torque from the 30 bottem end. Mine is on boost @ 4000 with the twins. Combine that with a C4, 3800 stall and a 175hp shot of nos and i think it should go alright. Am looking for a new turbo now. Maybe a GT42R or GT47
  21. Its a old topic but i thought i would let you know how the 25 was when i pulled it apart. It had Tomei pistons, Tomei cams and valve springs and the rest was totally stock. Stock rods, crank. So the 25 put up a good fight before it lost compression on number 6. It burnt the piston and pinched the ring. The bore looks like brand new as do the other 5. I now have a 25/30 running the same turbo setup (for now) and a C4 auto with 3800 stall and a 100-175hp nos kit. Its not tuned yet as ive got a few little issues to sort out and then need to upgrade the ignition. I am looking into M&W igniters and mercury coils. Someone is interested in the twin turbo setup, so ive started looking for something bigger and better. GT42R

  23. here is mine im my 33. its not pretty but does the job. Im running 2 044 pumps and 2 filters. And runing 2X 3/8 fuel lines one to each end of the rail
  24. Do you have a pic of the temp guage when its on?? Also does it come with the temp sensor??
