i wouldnt be too worried, its probably just stained the metal. i did mine recently and it left the metal a funny colour too, i just bolted em back on. unless its like all gritty, then maybe scrub it off with a solvent.

wow they sound fair extreme. the one that pulled me over was some dude in normal clothes and driving a hyundai with 3 other dudes in the car with him haha. i suppose those guys had stealth in mind

lol, they can't even fine you. what they have to do is pull u over, then u gotta wait while they call up traffic police to come out and deal with the situation. i know this cos it happened to me, i got pulled over by a unmarked detective cos i crossed a solid white line. they presume im dui so i had to wait 15 minutes for a traffic cop to come out and breathalyse me

if you are getting it resprayed later just leave it for now. brush the marks with some paint to cover it up for the time being, it stops rust too. theres too many wankers out there these days, with no respect for anyone elses stuff. lets just hope they get whats coming to them.

could also be a faulty oil pump or a blockage somewhere? personally i would get a good mechanic to check it out asap

my oil pressure sits on 2 bar on idle then climbs higher as i rev it anything up to 5 or 6 bar

all fixed! i had a look at some other cars and mounted them similar to one of the top secret cars. ive got oil pressure and oil temp at the moment but ill be ordering a boost gauge soon what do u guys think? look ok?

ive noticed the stock gauge to have a delay on it compared to a good aftermarket one. but i would be a bit worried if the oil pressure drops when applying load. mine sits on about 2 bar for idle and always rises up on acceleration, normally up to 5 or 6 bar. (blitz electronic gauge) does it blow smoke? probably best to get a compression and leak down test done.

hey guys. does anyone else have this problem? or does anyone know any solutions to quieten it down a bit?? ive was using castrol edge 15w60 now using motul 300v 15w50, with about the same noise with both oils. doesnt make a sound when cold, but once oil temp gets up to about 85.C it starts making noise. only on idle, anthing above 2k rpm is fine. any advice is helpful! cheers Sam.

yeah true that. had two rexes blitz past me last night on tapley hill rd. i couldnt care i just sat on the speed limit, next corner was a cop with a radar gun
