with mine i did mods in different stages. first i had a full 3.5" exhaust (3" is fine), larger front mounted intercooler, k&n filter and a bleed vavle boost controller set at 10psi = 175kw rw later i got a power fc computer, bosch 040 fuel pump and tune = 204kw rw now i got a hiflow t3/t4 turbo, z32 afm, and a nismo fuel pressure reg =241kw rw later i plan on splitfire coilpacks and 480cc injectors for 250+kw

yeah no probs mate i know what u are saying though, i smoked out everything with unburn fuel while i was trying to keep it running! im pretty sure everything is ok, ill clamp it all up good tomorrow and see how it goes.

so the oil keeps flowing through the turbo, so it cools off a bit. my tuner instructed me to keep the car running for at least a minute or two if the cooler pipe pops off. the engines all good, i was just a bit worried about the turbo

Hi guys, i went for a bit of a drive today, while going along a short straight i gave it full boost and POP, off came one of the cooler pipes. i know its best to leave the car idleing roughly as it does, but i could not for the life of me keep the car running no matter how hard i tried the turbo is a highflowed journal bearing t3/t4 with a vg30 exhaust housing, it would have only got less than a minutes worth of idle before it stalled completely. my question is could i have damaged the turbo by all this happening?? it took me a minute or 2 before i reconnected the pipe and started it running again, the car runs fine but i havent given it any boost yet because i need a new clamp. thanks Sam.

hey Brendan! its going good, i think its enough power for now haha, although i might get some bigger injectors later on. hows your turbo upgrade going?

sorry to hear Ryan. i fully agree with what u have said above, i got myself a daily runabout and although the skyline hardly gets driven compared to what it used to, i feel better not parking it anywhere i dont feel its safe.

ive been pulled over numerous times, once for crossing a solid white line in the hills - that cop dribbled on for about 10 minutes about nothing then let me go. got pulled over the other night out of nowhere for an rbt and licence check (cop pulls me over, even though the hilux next to me spun its wheels up as it left the lights :S)- got pulled over in murray bridge for another out of nowhere rbt, the cop actually said my car looked nice and asked how do i get over speedhump and driveways my favourite was one night at crafers when i stopped so my mate could get out and have a smoke, cop car pulls up cop - what are you doing up here me - we are going for a drive cop - at this time of night? me - yes cop - you have been doing burnouts! me - no i havent, i dont do burnouts cop - yes you have, i can smell tyre smoke me - no i havent, why would i kill my car by doing burnouts??? we were driving that is all 2nd cop in the car to 1st cop - its probably our car you can smell, its a steep drive up here 1st cop reluctantly gives up and lets me go, she was adament to get me for something even asked me each and every one of my details when i could see they already had my details up on their monitor, like they wanted me to slip up or something. imports are just easy targets i say, they are easy to spot, most of them are modded, and then there are the people that must drive like idiots everywhere they go.
