    lol, i see your point, better to kill it good than something small requiring a rebuild. its fairly disheartening at the time, but in the end its good to know you now have an engine that can cope with the extra kw it is funny too, when my compression was down the car still pulled hard and felt like nothing was wrong.. execpt for the oil cloud blocking my rear view and filling up my 1L catch can in one good 4th gear boost

    here is my recent dyno, (keeping with the topic) ive just had a rb25 highflow with the vg30 exhaust housing, also a nismo fuel reg and z32 afm.

    oh, u can paint over old paint, just primer any filler or repairs. but definately prime bare fiberglass.

    ^^^ exactly. especially on fiberglass too, paint will look dull and crap without primer & it wont adhere properly either

    thats what i like about it too, and the fact that they look totally stock in the engine bay. although people who i know personally who have highflows have never had a problem, ive only read the horror stories on the forums here.

    i had the exact same problem with mine, my tuner couldnt get a decent tune due to this. it turned out that the place that built my turbo had not machined the wastegate to match the rest of the turbo, so it had to be sent back and done again

    i believe they are sealed up with urethane, they need to be heated up (to loosen the sealer up) with a heat gun or oven, then pryed apart using a small screwdriver.
