  1. would you be able to name somewhere that u know of that can? im reluctant to remove the bar because its not an easy task to remove and replace. thanks
  2. Hi everyone. Ive recently installed a JUN FRP bodykit on my R33 skyline, after going to get a wheel allignment today i found that the allignment machine wouldnt read a meausrement on the front??? apparently im told that this is due to the front bar being too low?? does this sound normal? the front bar is similat dimension to a 400R front? i really dont want to remove it and reinstall it just to get the wheels alligned? im thinking i should try a different allignment shop?? any thoughts appreciated. cheers Sam.
  3. ROFL post it up Ash!
  4. would depend on budget, what u are after ect... if your in the market for a skyline i saw heaps in last weeks trading post, resonable prices too. i would try that first.
  5. lukits01 where did you source your endless SSS pads from? cheers.
  6. sounds good, as long as theres a cruise in the mix i should be there.
  7. only advice i can give is get to know some people with similar cars and a likeminded interest and organise meet points, cruises ect. even though the website cruises ect. its a lot of fun
  8. sourced one now, cheers
  9. As topic states - if you have a good quality rear strut brace for sale could you please reply here or via PM. thanks, Sam.
  10. ive been using Bridgestone Potenza GIIIs on mine, nice tyre @ $250ea. last time i was at the drags i managed a 1.9 60ft time with them, so i was quite impressed with the grip they had!
  11. shaun rebuilt my RB25 with CP forgies. very happy with the work done
  12. happy birthday Andrew! have a good one mate!
  13. yeah ive heard 2 ways are really touchy, especially when braking hard, tight cornering ect. i think i might go for a 1.5 way, with a more streetable setting. but yeah, let us know how the 2 way goes
  14. i wanna head out and have a look. i usually get there at about midday. hope this rainy weather clears up before then.
  15. im fairly sure the stock pump cant handle much more than 175rwkw, thats where mine cut out anyway. i went for the bosch 040 internal, they handle up to 250kw. it made a huge difference, very valuable upgrade that one!
  16. hey Jase, let me know what u think of the two way. i gotta upgrade my diff at some point, mine doesnt work properly anymore.
  17. another vote for ' loose the nostrils'
  18. i vote lose the hicas too. there are a few good threads on reasons to remove it, i recommend doing a search on this one. i recently removed the hicas on my R33, it handles heaps better without it, and only took my about half an hour to remove the rear steering rack and install the lock bar! btw, i bought the lock bar off greenline, heres the link. http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bblist.php?brand=ESSENTIAL
  19. lol, i remember that episode.. chinpokemon
  20. got to agree that most drivers of these 4x4s have no idea how to drive a vehicle of that weight and size. some of the maneuvers they try and pull off in peak traffic has me in disbelief .
  21. hmm, many different opinions on this topic.. same goes for all the topics i have searched through. it seems most people who have fitted alloy mounts claim that they are not that bad. im not sure what to do. it seems my stock bushes are very worn. im stuck in a situation at the moment where i cant easily get my car to a workshop for the duration it takes for a full replacement. im leaning more towards the alloy ones for the fact that there is no more movement in the frame, and i can install them myself.
  22. its pretty harsh on the road as is. i feel every little uneven-ness in the road with my coilovers. i dont really want to go to all the effort of completely replacing the factory bushes, and ive heard mixed opinions on pineapples, with some people reporting they dont make a lot of difference? ive heard the same about alloy bushes, apparently they are effective but cause increased NVH, although ive read a few people say they arent that bad?? any other opinions?
  23. Hi all, i want to fit a set of these 'alloy subframe bushes' to my R33. my question is - how effective will these be if the factory bushes are really worn? will they still lock the subframe from any movement? thanks in advance! Sam.
  24. i like the detail they have gone into with the build process. i wish i had their kind of much money to spend on a drifter!
  25. I witnessed this too. They pick on us because we are an easy target. Its too easy for them to set up a defect station at the exit of a car show. combating real crime and real problems is obviously not their priority. It shits me to constantly hear that us import drivers are hoons driving our illegal skylines that are too low and too loud ..ect .. whatever else.. how many fatalities happened this weeked?? with the two combined mannum and coonalpyn accidents, it was quite a fair few!!! i dont think the crowds of police at morphettville racecourse did anything to help/prevent situations like this with their defect stations! because from what i understand drivers actions were to blame in both cases not vehicle modifications or the cars they drove & in one case a troublesome corner was to blame due to bad road surface in an area that should not be rated at 110kph. sorry for the rant
