Thanks guys too bad you couldnt make it down, i was looking forward to seeing the Calais & GT-R run down the strip. heres my best timeslip, lol @ my R/T on this one! i did my burnout dropped it out of gear & forgot to put it back into gear afterwards thankfully the R/T doesn't affect the ET btw - im #647, left lane. -

i was originally looking for an R32 but went for the R33 because there was a much greater range to choose from. at the time there was about 2-3 R32s advertised each week that met my needs compared to about 10 R33. but either was it comes down to your own preference, have a look at a few, test drive the ones you like the sound of and make your decision from there.

i had a great time at AIR, it was loads of fun thanks to Duc & Darren for coming along, thanks Darren for the imput on how to improve my time. my best RT was 0.792 best 60' was 1.978 best ET was 13.489 sec best MPH was 104.51 -
thats it, i try to generalise as much as i possibly can if i post that i have seen someone or their car. as long as adresses or number plates arent noted, i cant see the harm.

spotted a clean looking R32 GT-R on greenhill rd earlier on. it was dark metallic blue, i dont think ive ever seen one that colour before.

hmm, i dont think ill go for the mallala practise day yet, as i still have a few things to sort out before i hit the racetrack. but im keen on going to AIR for the drags, hopefully ill see you guys there! -

thanks for that info Will. also another question - im not sure what format the mallala prac day follows, but how do i go about doing laps without an oil-cooler? do i do a full lap, then a cool down lap then leave the track until temperatures settle a bit? or can i do another proper lap after a slower lap? what procedure do you other oil-cooler-less people follow? -

i dont mean to sound cynical here, but why didnt you buy one that was turbocharged? gts25t R33s have really come down in price recently. plus it would save you money/time/hassle ect.. anyways, it sounds like a nice car, post a pic when you get a chance
