  2. same with mine too. shaun installed it, and it never makes a sound. except yesterday when the weather was warmer than usual, i could hear it.. why is that?
  3. i sent you a PM Brad.
  4. Nice R32 you have there i remember it from the Cruise/BBQ that Guy organised.
  5. thanks for all your feedback/help & advice guys. i ended up getting my tyres though work (trade price) earlier today, got a good deal on a set of bridgestone potenza's.
  6. nice Stagea & Fireblade you have there Brendan!
  7. Hi people! well ive just chewed through another set or rear tyres (cheapo nankangs) and the front ones dont look too good either. What tyre places in Adelaide can you guys recommend or have had good dealings with?? cheers Sam.
  8. hey Ash. times dont bother me too much. im busy sat night, but other than that the rest of the weekend is open for me. just let me know time/meet point and ill be there.
  9. very nice!
  10. glad to hear you got it back in one piece.
  11. ive got a set of Tanabe Sustec Pro's on my car, and i must say they handle very nicely. they are quite firm and you will notice it on bumpy roads. but in the hills/open roads i wouldnt be without them sorry i couldnt answer your main question, not sure on that one.
  12. hey Darren. the bosch pump has worked great for me so far. i know Nightcrawler has had some problems with the 040, though. then again i have heard bad things about the walbro aswell. do a search in 'forced induction performance' too, there are quite a few fuel-pump threads that mention these two pumps.
  13. welcome to the forums! thats a nice R34 you have there
  14. I went from a CA18DE silvia to an RB25DET R33. and i must say i never looked back. obviously its more expensive to run, but for the performance/comfort gain it is well woth it. The R33 feels firmer on the road, much nicer to drive on freeways/open roads, heaps more room inerior wise, and much more. The only thing my S13 had over the 33 was that it was lighter and handled noticably lighter, thats about it. Sam
  15. ROFL
  16. Oosh - count me in! Ill be there for sure! Trick - ill make sure to drop by, i wanna see what makes that GT-R so damned fast
  17. thanks for that info. yep, ive now read that the sender must be fully submerged in oil to get an acurate reading. Also interesting to find some cars use oil temp senders for both before/after oil passes through the oil-cooler, to get 2 different readings! Still unsure of where to mount it though, the GReddy sump plug replacement type seem the easiest, but that point is very low to the ground and i would hate to scrape it on anything... the sandwhich plate option is about $50-60, so at that price its almost worth spending a bit more to get an oil cooler kit that has the adaptors anyway... hmm, not sure.. Sam
  18. yep, Chops is right. for some reason the media/police have to try and blow the whole situation out of proportion if there is an imported jap car involved in some kind of mishap.
  19. agreed
  20. shite! i wonder how he managed that?
