i just didnt like the fact that every time i lifted off the throttle i had to hear the 'tu tu tu tu ut' not good when trying to drive in stealth mode

stick at it mate, they are trying to brush you away because by doing the job twice they make no profit off your job. its definately the shops responsibility to fix the colour up, i reakon either get on contact with your insurance co or even consumer affairs if worse comes the worst

i blocked mine off for awhile, but the fluttering drove me crazy so i went back to normal :S

its kind of hard to describe but if you used my $150 buff, then tried the $600 one we use at work you would see what i mean the pricier one its a lot smoother, better defined speed settings, plenty of low down torqiness. while my cheaper one tends to bog down at low speeds, and lacks that torque feel.

imo you get what you pay for with buffs. i bought a cheap buff for $150 and it does alright but takes longer to buff a car than a good one. we have a rupes buff at work they are about 600ish and is very nice to use.

ive parked at marion plenty of times and no problems, i live near westlakes and park there a lot too with no issues. arndale and ttp are the only other ones ive really ever parked at, and i would trust them the least.

we have nova on at work, seems to be a good mix and not too many ads, i just get sick of the talking we had fresh on awhile back, some good tracks every now and then, but so damn repetative day to day. i like jjj, cos im a fan of local/aussie music, but not the hiphop though i listen to mix and tripple m, cos i like a lot of the older music compared to what is released these days safm is a never for me, cant stand it full stop!

another one for Mark at ET, he did the exhaust on my car when he used to own it back in like 2000. its still going strong 8 years later, top work and a nice note to it too!

+1, i had one on my car when i first got it. and ditched it in favour of driving low rpm for the last 2 minutes of driving. like craig said, its 1 less thing they can defect u for. interestingly one of the guys i went to tafe with had a 180sx with a factory turbo timer

agreed there troy, i only ever enter these shows for the atmosphere and to hang out with some like-minded enthusiats. congrats to the guys who won trophys, well done!

i got 233kw, but was tuned to 243kw, so not too bad there. i got a bit of oil smoke right after the power run, im pretty sure its cos ive overfilled the oil when i changed it last. but it was fun to get on the dyno with you guys!

yeah i loved the flamethrower show out of that thing haha, not sure what fuel it was on but it smelled like paint thinner :S
