  1. spotted 3 R33 GTRs on pt wakefield rd yesterday, the first was some kind of midnight purple variant, the second was a stock silver one and the third was rather a let down.. turned out to be a GTS-t with a GTR badge on the front
  2. nice weather hey! and with your car looking all nice and shiny from yesterday too!
  3. yeah im keen to see some pics too. im not sure that there is much allowance for engine mods on targa cars craig, i remember gtrs are only allowed mild mods that keep it close to factory
  4. what sort of datsun u gonna buy dave?
  5. i had a good day, and like you guys im a bit burnt. it was a good drive down and back, nice weather and a really good turnout. thanks to craig for organising
  6. that looks awesome mate!
  7. im still there for sure, ill most likely go on the dyno too
  8. yeah thats it hey, gives u a bit more motivation to be up early
  9. fingers crossed craig the early start wont bother me too much, i normally have to be up a 6 every saturday to work. but this will be fun & work is boring
  10. heres mine, its a jun kit
  11. i had 6 f**ked ringlands in mine, and the funny thing was it idled nice and drove nicely too. it was just boosting it over 4.5k and out came the massive smoke clouds and a full catch can of oil
  12. yeah she did, i thought it was rather odd that she wanted to know about hicas and getting through regency haha yep when he drove it off the freeway, i remember it came in on the tow truck early in the morning and it was stoved hard!
  13. i would be keen to see the result, i wanna do mine even if its just a projector for the low beam
  14. yeah and show footage of a skyline and RX-7 street drifting in japan, and claim its in the adelaide hills
  15. lol, i just asked her, it all makes sense now back then i had a straight 3.5" from the turbo and jun cannon, it was fairly loud. i remember the gts-4 coming into my old workplace in a rather sorry state. also remember some of the n/a 32s driving was rather exuberant. anyways i hope u get the 32 back on the road soon man, its sucks when workshops keep putting off your job
  16. haha, that brings back memories. i remember dominos carpark always had the lineup of black 32s, normally yours, that gts-4 with the vented bonnet and sometimes that n/a one. i always parked there to go to the bank and have a sus of the other lines cheers man, i always tried to keep the 33 clean i spose. were joel and amandas 33s the burgandy and oranges ones? do i know your roommates?
  17. actually i think ive met you before that, i had a chat to you when u worked at dominos?
  18. ah well, each to their own i guess. if it work well for you guys, keep it up. personally i rather save myself the time of rewaxing and put into other areas of my detail
  19. your cars looking good mr ted. i gave mine a polish this arvo and a good pressure clean too!
  20. spotted a silver stag on henley beach road lowered with dished rims, and about a minute later a very clean stock black S2 R33
  21. yeah there is an inspection station in murray bridge. my old workmate got sent there with his vl with 2 defects and came out with a list of 9 more :S
  22. i never said it was right or wrong, i just dont see the point. ive polished countless amounts of cars through work, and never done this nor worked with anyone else who has done this
  23. true hey ted, thats the other thing i miss is a pit, now i have to scramble underneath the car on my back :S
  24. ah thats cool, i thought afterwards i should have asked what username you had on sau. you have a black 32 right? haha. i would luke, but i got no facilities anymore, damn i miss having a shed cheers vinnie, yeah where i work probably isnt the cheapest either. but we do quality work, its not like these volume shops that crank out as many jobs as possible, we take some time to get it right.
  25. yeah i forgot to mention i wash the car first then go over the whole car with a 3M claybar. i doubt there is much point in waxing the car so many times, each time you apply another coat you are removing the previous coat
