    Hi people! ive just got my car back from its engine rebuild, and ive started the running in process. i need to find some roads with plenty of up-hills and corners. i know of a few, but i need to variate a bit because ill be covering a lot of ks. any suggestions? thanks, sam

    do they mean 'defect' as in currently under a defect notice? or check defect history, in order to re-defect? i suppose they would say, would they?

    sounds like a good idea, you can inspect and choose your car in person and have a holiday at the same time.

    the thing would be if you got it dyno tuned on that petrol, you would have to try and use the same stuff every time.

    yeah, i agree. go and have a look at an S15, take it for a test and you should have an answer.

    i was faced with the same situation when i bought my R33. not being able to afford the S15 determined my answer. i really like my 33, but if i had the money i would go with the S15.

    my car had a similar grinding sound problem. i just changed the fluid. problem fixed! btw, fluid that was in there was pretty dirty.

    its sorta hard to say without seeing the car, try using a machine-polisher and some heavy duty compound. just be warned that 'buffing through' is a possibility.

    im in the same boat mate. i havent had my 33 for about a month & im going crazy, :lol: but yeah, ps2 is always good for chewing the hours away!

    'when backing off from high revs' sounds like valve stem seals. does it constantly puff smoke on idle after a cold start?

    i couldn't drive without my coil-overs, they make a world of difference to the handling! love the way the car sticks to the road and minimum body-roll while cornering . bumpy & shit roads are a killer though
