$300 is the average 'per panel' price, for a dent repair and repaint. just make sure its done by a reputable shop and it'll be worth it

sounds like turbo seals, or possible valve guide seals. one way to check if the turbo is the problem, is to pull off the dump-pipe and check for oil around the waste-gate area.

tricky to explain, ill give an example: paint code on the N13 pulsar is 569 type that into the computer and it will come up with a toyota & a ford formula. try typing CLR569 and then the nissan one will come up weird hey? only car manufacturer i know that does that. mostly on pre-90s model nissans

note: if anyone ever needs paint for an early COB (clear over base) nissan, make sure you type CLR (into paint code database) in front of the 3 numbers that are on the ID plate.

its just a box around the pod, with a cold air feed going into it. its a good method of keeping hot air out. there is a big thread on CAIs somehere around here?

nice! where did you get that pipe from? does the stock bov still feed-back into it? any noticable improvements over the plastic one?

yep, definately fit a heat shield or cold air box.

get a compression and leak down test done. i had a similar problem, turbo was fine & no oil leaks anywhere. but i was always topping up the oil. turned out the rignglands were shot on all 6 pistons! an engine rebuild is in process at the moment. not good news, but hope that helps sam
