i spotted a nice looking white R34 on south rd earlier. had red plates PHAT R34 or something? i didnt get a real good look.

that inlet manifold is decieving, have a look at the engine block btw, nice work NA-R33, but not NA anymore

you must have a pod filter. the air from the stock bov goes back through a pipe and ends up right in front of the air flow meter, making it almost as audible as an atmospheric one. you could always go back to the stock airbox, as this will dampen the sound almost completely. as for leaks, if you rev the car from the engine bay listen to where the noise is coming from, my guess is the pod. hope that helps

Hi everyone. i have recently bought a power FC for my R33, i have not installed in yet, but i have a few questions. the fc will fix all of my problems regarding air/fuel, iginition timing ect, that the stock un-tuneable computer cannot. a mate with an S15 was accelerating up to about 6000rpm when his aftermarket fuel pump failed, the stock computer immediately sensed this and shut the whole car down, preventing an engine failure. i know the power fc would sense the lean-out of fuel, but would it shut everything down? or would the engine just die??? also how does the fc compare with the cold-start settings of the factory computer? thanks in advance, Sam

on the topic of quality, i work at a crash repair shop. we had an XR6t come in the other day with some front-end damage. this particular car was 1 year old and had less than 3000ks on the clock. all of the engine bay seam-seals were inconsistant, dripping out of some areas and non-existant in others. the most surprising part for us was the fact that rust was developing in a few of the lower front & skirt panel joins! one of the boys who is a big ford fan, & planning on buying a BA later on seemed quite put off by what he saw.

It was a good day! Having never seen the SA rally before, I was keen to go have a look. It turned out to be a bit difficult for me because I didn’t have my car back, and living on the other side of town from the meet up point. Id like to thank Oosh for the accommodation & driving me around, also thanks to Nightcrawler for the hills-run in PCOTY & the 8-ball. 3" exhaust & FMIC are valuable mods. if it was me i wouldnt worry about the BOV, the stock pulmb-back one works fine & doesnt attract unwanted attention. buy an apex power fc & get all your tuning sorted out, and you should have a very quick car.
