  1. i'll probably be back in adelaide this weekend.
  2. 24L tank is a bit too small, you would find yourself constantly running out of air pressure. you would really want a minimum of 50L tank and 3.0HP, to keep air pressure consistantly above 3.0 bar. what spec was the last compressor you borrowed? im back in murray bridge atm, i help my dad out with his hospital appointment.
  3. hey duc, when u planning on repainting the silvia panels?

  9. Hi everyone! Heres some pics from sunday. The weather was excellent and there was some really top drifting. these are all of the still pics i took, i got mostly videos of the drifting, but they are way too big to upload. we only had 2 complaints about the day, 1 was the fact that we couldnt hear the commentating, it was too distorted and quite, thus we couldnt determine who had been eliminated from each round. 2 its difficult to see what is going on from the stands, viewing areas really need to be closer to the S bend and back straight.
  10. thats it. the stock computer cannot be adjusted at all, something to do with emission laws at the time? i just bought a power fc for mine, i havent installed it yet, but from what i have been reading its well worth the expense.
  11. did anyone go to the practice at AIR today? anyone going tomorrow?
  12. haha yeah, good thing we were a bit behind it, the driver would have wondered what the hell we were looking at.
  13. or if you want to go all out, you could remove the calipers and pull them to bits, then send em off to be sanblasted & powdercoated. but thats more messing around than its worth.
  14. definately use a high-temp rated paint, its unbelievable how hot the brakes get i was going to paint mine awhile back but in the end i decided not to, here are the steps i was going to take. give the calipers a good scuff with P320 dry sandpaper, and use a heavy scourer to get into the places that the sandpaper wont reach. clean the calipers with a wax & grease remover thouroughly, until all of the black stuff is off. spray a light - medium coat of acrylic etch-primer over the brakes (this improves adhesion). straight after the primer has dried, spray 2 coats of your colour (or how ever many required to get full coverage) onto the calipers. after the colour coat has dried, spray 1 light - medium coat of 2K clear.
  15. that red S14? that was nice! heaps low and wide. too bad it only had the stock rims.

  24. interesting stuff hey. they say if you dont run the engine hard the rings wont bed in properly. i suppose motorcycle engines would have to be similar to the running in of a car engine. coincidentaly the pistons ill be using are CP forged ones, and they make the majority of there parts to suit motorcycles.
