    i just got a k&n one from autobarn, cost me about $70 i think

    ive never seen a 33 GT-R for under 30gs. most common price i see them for in newspapers over here is high 30s to mid 40s.

    brush a bit of paint onto any exposed bare metal in the scratch to prevent it rusting, that should work as a temporary fix until you save some cash and figure which panel shop will do the best job/price.

    my first car was a 1984 TG Gemini, that car copped such a hiding and never let me down.

    machine polish lambswool pad & a gritty compound, then use a finer glaze polish on a eggpad buff, then finish off with say a meguires hand-polish. This is the process i use at work and comes up like new every time
