Well thanks for the tips Streeter, very informative.. my main aim over in japan is to make lots of money so that i can travel to china, vietnam (where i am from) thailand and sri lanka (where the mrs is from) when u say find a job during the day. is the demand for english conversational teaching a lot? also what else can i do??? heheh... my English is very good, no accents except for the aussie one so im not one of those fobby English speakers. guys i have no degree, although i have been to uni for 1 year studying full time and also at TAFE for 2 years with a diploma... the requirements for Nova was full time: must have bachelors degree flexi time or part time: must have at least 12 years schooling and at least 1 year tertiary education...

Streeter, so you are doing it part time with NOVA?? whats the overtime like is there many hours? I was thinking about the moving out part but my girlfriend has sworn to her parents that she wont be living with me so i doubt that we will be living together... man im soo excited and cant wait to get there.....

Informer i am asian but i was born in Australia. i have already scored the job with NOVA and we are in the process of finallising the contracts. what do u mean that it will be difficult in finding a job? is it because i am asian too??

So Jarek when u heading over? im excited as much as im nervous..... guys im heading over through NOVA and im staying in Tokyo. shared living with NOVA apartments are going to cost me like 60k a month... anyone here stay with NOVA apartments? just wandering wheter they allow girls into the apartments coz the lady i had at the interview was saying something like girls part and guys part of the building only... the reason i ask this is that my girlfriend is coming over too and although we are not living together can she come over sometimes and vice versa.. anyone know from experience?

Hey guys, i'm new to this forum. Although i don't drive a Skyline, i drive a Soarer TT.. i know i know, what the hell is a soarer doing on a skyline forum.. .hehehe, i find this thread very useful and you guys seem like a friendly bunch. Look i'm going over to Japan to teach with Nova in April and honestly this forum is the only one which really has lots of info about japan. The pros and the cons. I have been reading this forum for a while now and decided to might as well join up. so i look forward to more news from you guys and other things that are happening over there in Japland... guys
