As the titile says....can someone please enlighten me on the difference apart from the type r being slightly more expensive? I mean what are the functions that dual solenoid type r can do that single solenoild type s cannot do? I just want a good boost controller that can boost my single turbo gtst to 20 psi.

Wrecking GTR parts+prices
danieltangtc replied to >GoDziLLa<'s topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hi....im after the GTR fuel pump....still available buddy? Will 150 be ok? Dan -
Hi people.... I have decided to give up my turbo upgrade project as its starting to get too costly for me.......especially since im a student. I'll just install a power FC with boost controller and it should be good enough for me....i hope. The turbo was bought second hand and has no shaft play at all!! Im in Adelaide....so if anybody wants to come check it out, its ok with me This is a full kit and this is the t3 flange version which fits skylines and not SR20s. It will bolt straight on. Everything required is there. I am willing to sell the HKS turbo kit + 3' downpipe (HKS) + 3 ' front pipe (unknown brand) together! The turbo has done only 8000kms (as im was told) Im willing to let go of the whole lot at $1800 Any takers? You can pm me or email me at [email protected]. You can even call if u want to at 0403671496. Oh yes....im looking for a power FC boost controller for ECR 33. Anybody with one of them? Willing to trade with cash adjustments of $300? I got some pictures below. The frontpipe is not in the picture. Cheers Daniel Tang

Haltech E6X for sale
danieltangtc replied to danieltangtc's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
pm sent -
As stated, i have a full haltech e6x ecu for sale. It comes with coolant temp sensor, trottle position sensor, air temp sensor, 3 bar MAP sensor (extra!) ignition module and wiring loom and i nstructions. This unit also has a boost control function if the haltech boost solenoid is used( can be bought for 98 I think) . I am selling as I do not know how to install it myself and do not want to pay to have it installed. Alternatively, if someone from Adelaide is willing to help me with the installation. i will gladly keep it. This unit is bought new for $1500 The HALTECH E6X is a powerful "real-time" programmable fuel injection and ignition system computer designed to control most ignition type engines. Whether 1-6, 8, 10 or 12 cylinders, 1-2 rotors, naturally aspirated, turbocharged or supercharged, the HALTECH E6X can control it. The E6X System optimises engine performance through the following capabilities: Ignition timing control Fuel control Idle speed control Closed loop The E6X is much more than a programmable fuel injection computer - it provides logging of engine data and allows access in real time to maximise performance and trouble-shoot problems in a vehicle while running. Typical Applications: Control of fuel injection on modified engines Conversion from carburetion to fuel injection Race and rally applications of all description Design and development purposes Educational use by universities and technical colleges Original equipment in cars and motorcycles. The patented HALTECH system of programming virtually eliminates the input of numbers. You simply manipulate bar graphs by pressing arrows keys on the attached PC running Haltech Programming software. Manipulating the bars allows you to increase or decrease the amount of fuel delivered or ignition advance at that particular RPM and load point. The process is repeated for all load points in each rpm range. Ignition timing is precisely mapped through the RPM range so that the exact timing required to obtain optimum performance is applied in every RPM and load range. For those interested, I will be willing to let it go cheap at 1200.

Sure looks like it man...really sound like a fuel pump problem to me. The walbro pumps also do not function at very high pressure unlike the bosch 040/044 and GTR pumps. Go get yourself a new pump!!!

Dear friends, I have found a site listing the guidelines for modification of cars in SA. Maybe those of you who have read it will like to contribute on what is illegal and what is not. The site is: http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/personal_tr...ht_vehicles.asp Download the pdf file: Modification to Passenger Cars, Car Type Utilities and Panel Vans Cheers Dan

Dear friends I need some advice regarding the HKS GT2530 turbo. My current setup is as follows--- fuel system: Stock fuel pump Stock injectors Stock fuel pressure regulator Splitfire coils Platinum spark plugs regapped at 0.9mm Induction: Stock afm HKS airpod 600x300x100 FMIC GFB bleed valve (at stock boost) Drivetrain: Xtreme heavy duty clutch exhaust system: HKS 3' dump pipe and front pipe 3' high flow cat 5Zigen 3' cat back with 5' muffler tip Engine management: Stock ECU I am currently on a tight budget. However, I previously bought a HKS 2530 kit with actuator and have it lying around in my room. I have been itching to bolt it on my car. In about 3 months time when I will have the money, I am planning to install a Z32 afm, GTR fuel pump, Greddy Profec B spec 2 boost controller, Apexi Power FC. The thing is......NOW, I want to install the turbo so i will not have it lying around and taking up space. i can then sell my stock turbo to make some cash. However, this turbo install will be done without the power FC ,Z32, boost control, fuel pump and fpr. I will then be running stock boost on the HKS turbo for 3 months till I can upgrade the rest. Tell me what you think......will it work out.....Really need advice! Cheers, Your fren Dan

opps for got to mention....I do have an Xtreme heavy duty clutch. And Yes my exhaust is a 5Zigen 3 inch catback, with 3 inch high flow cat, 3inch HKS frontpipe and dump pipe and 5' muffler tip(for the look ) . I have seen peopel on this forum managing 220 rwkw with the HKS 2530 with stock injectors. So i think it should be ok. I actually have a GTR fuel pump and Z32 afm lying around in my room. However, i thought that these should only be used CONCURRENTLY with a power FC as the stock ECU will not be able to manage these. Can someone please advice. Cheers Dan
