  2. I dunno about ur car Robo, but mine reves till 9000 rpm and bounces off rev limiter. You can ask Sam and Duc (Nozila). They were with me in the car this afternoon when it hits 9000rpm. I think its my new splitfire direct ignition coils, and new irridium sparkies that allows me to do that. i think i will ask the tuner to set my rev limiter so I do not overrev Dan
  3. Hmmm, Robo boosts up till 19 psi on his 2530.... I should be fine with 1.2 bars I believe! Hmmm, I think i will be a little gentle on my peddle in the future...no more 9000rpm....
  4. Yo Aaron, Im running a blitz dsbc type R. But the car is currently running on stock boost (apparently its 13 psi on my HKS2530) I see you are in SA as well!!! Me and a few other guys around our age of 20-24 meet up now and then. You should come join us mate!!! just today, Sam, Duc and myself went for a drive in my car... and it reved cleanly to 9000rpm and wheelspins all the way in 1st and abit in 2nd....pity i forgot to get a picture of 3 R33s together in a row!   5. The car is virtually permanently on boost. Even when it is not moving, u can sometimes hear the ball bearings still going for a while after the engine is off. Boost comes on very very hard suddenly and pins you in your seat with wheelspin just under 3000rpm. So yes, I personally found that boost came on earlier and very much harder than the stock turbo. i had to release my accelerator pedal to gain traction....i keep losing traction each time i overstep the acceleratiors. I am now practicing to be very friendly with the pedal. Oh yes, I am surprise....my clutch is not slipping....how come? Its only a heavy duty 860kg organic!!! I managed to drag the car up till 90km/h in 1st gear. That took me 4 seconds.
  6. Thanks a lot guys for all yur answers.... I think I will up the boost to 1.2 bars then see how it goes. If I don't like it, I can simply turn the boost controller off. At least my PFC will be tuned to handle 1.2 bars when i turn the EBC back on. Right?
  7. Hi guys, I dunno how it happened but my car somehow made 230+rwkw at just 13 psi stock boost for hks2530. Even the tuner was surprised. He now believes that with somemore tuning and upping the boost to 1.2 bars (around 17.5psi), we can make at least 250rwkw. This was done on a dyno dynamics dyno!!! I will post up pictures when I up the boost and fine tune the car. Mods are HKS2530 GTR fuel pump Power FC 3' turbo back with HKS split dump and race-cat 550cc Nismo injectors that somehow flow 565cc when flow-tested Z32 afm Hybrid FMIC Splitfire di ignition coils irridium sparks I am now too scared to drive the car as even at stock boost, the car keeps burning the road when i dun want it to! The tuner is still insisting on upping the boost to 1.2 bars though...what should I do. Will the car become even more undrivable then??? Dan

  10. Hi Ionos, I got all 4 done for $200. But mine was an easy job as no painting was involved. My wheels were done by Jeff from Kwikfix. They come to you. All in all took about 4 hours for mine. He can only repair the wheel edges if the damage (scratches/gutter rash) is not too bad. If the spokes are damaged, he cannot repair. Also depends what your wheels are made off. If it is chrome, they must be acid dipped and only a specilised company like Adelaide wheel services can do things like that. Also, my wheels are unpainted solid aluminium alloys so they are easy to fix. Give him a call and ask if he can do it: 0438022426 Cheers Daniel
  11. We put a PFC in the car today as well. Car will be dyno tuned tomorrow to see how it goes... No probs Duc!!! I'll call you tomorrow nite to tell you how I went once I get home from Boostworx (tuner in Adelaide for those that dun know)...

  14. Duc is a nice guy........ helped me out with my sparkies as my car won't start....took me to autobahn to get them as well... You guys should go to his place to to get work done...hehe
  15. Turbo is surprisingly in almost immaculate condition. No shaft play at all! Not smoking at all. Has done just over 90 thousand ks... Never ever boosted....stock boost 7psi. Very strong...makes my r33 fly!!!
  16. Thanks a lot for the info....hmmm....How could your organic clutch be grabby? Maybe it has a 2500 pound pressure cover???
