Power cuts randomly Hey guys, this is my second post in this forum. I have this issue on my car for while hasnt been fixed and took to places they are not familiar with hope some one can relate to it or kow whats going on. while ago say 3-4 months ago i have replaced the fuel pump(walbro255 high flow) as stock fuel pump was broken, and car wasnt starting so had to call mobile mechanic to come have a look, and he discovered fuel pump was the issue and replaced with walbro as i mentioned above. ever since i have replaced the fuel pump i have got weird driving experience, like it randomly cuts power like when taking sharp left turn or right, driving on rocky roads or bumpy roads, and when u rev hard say past 5-6000 rpm the idle will sound funny. before when car get stall i can turn back on straight away and drive but 3 days ago as i was driving car stalled and tried to start like normal it wouldnt start, it was choking and car died again. Tried for 15 mins atleast failed to start. As i was waiting for tow truck for 1 hr i thought lets give a shot to start it back again. And surprisingly it started. I didnt drive for 5 mins just wanted to see if it would turn off, but didnt . Drove back home which was 6 kms away. havent drove since bit stress dont know how to explain to people they look confused after explaining to them. Any idea whats happening with the car. Car stall randomly Hey guys, this is my second time with the issue that i was having. I hope some one with similat problem or knows what exactly is the problem will help me out. i have replaced the fuel from stock to walbro 255 high flow fuel pump with stock sock 2 months ago. As my stock fuel was broken wouldnt let car start, so called the mobile mechanic to have a look who claim3ed as a rb25 specialist. so he discovered it was the fuel i need to replaced so he brought the walbro and installed for me.the car was driving fine for 2 weeks. And one i was driving the fuel was about quater to empty, and the road was rough and rocky as i was driving the car tried to stall and i had the floor the accelarator to revive and would drive normally. Untill today as i was driving like normal i had that stalling issue by now i knew how can i revive car. As i was driving to drop my wife to work the car stall like usual but wouldnt start as i tried several times to start it would start and turn off straight away. It was the first time i faced it. Tried atleast 15 minsto start shaked the car thought its the fuel pump checked sparkplug all the hoses, afm. All seems fine all the reading were normal on cluster. As i called the tow truck to tow my car i waited like 1 hr and gave 1 more shot to turn in the car and it started. And drove back home with stress thought it would break down again. I reached home fine. Wonder it could be fuel pump? any idea or suggestion please help this brother thanks. Regards amit

Nissan 96 gtst s2 rb25det Hey guy, i am back again and wanted to thanks to all brothers who advised me to use the following steps on my previous post to identify the issues. well, after i took all the advices i went to the mechanic and explained him the issue and possiblities for this issue. the guy looked pretty much familar with the issue he asked to leave the car for a day which i did, went back next day around midday, before i went there i gave him a call and asked him what was the issue he explaIned it to me its was the earth which is why fuel pump wasnt working. I was impressed, i was ready to pay any amount he ll ask me for not because i had money it was because i finally got rid of the issue which was troubling me. i drove back home and when i was driving on the rough road the issue came back and went back to mechanic and told him what happened and he drove with me and he faced it as well. He open the bonnet and checked afm there was nothing wrong checked wirings and he was confused. The problem is still there. i was wondering could it be Turbo. It pulls hard when it needs to, when i stop the car after pulling hard idles fluctuate. what is done in the car? changed the fuel pump to walbroo 250 highflow. did hard wired ever since i upgraded the fuel pump this issue came. please help this brother. it may look like the long essay i wanted to express all the things i faced. regards amit

Could be as the guy was confused while he was putting back all the hoses in.. i am gonna have a look at it.. and will leg u know...

Hi dear, thanks for your reply the thing we did before putting the wallbro pulled the entire cradle and assembled. changed the after market shockto standard as the standard one was longer than after market. while puttng it back we placed accordingly the one it was before. it was working fine for week or 2 and its getting worst. If i am over 50 on the street get my car to the puddle powercuts.. its weird..

Wallbro fuel pump Hi all, i am new to this forum, as i have learnt so many things from this page. I have an issue hoping to resolve through this page if possible. The thing is i have replaced my stock fuel pump to wallbro 250 high flow fuel pump. As mine stock pump was playing up and one day it ended not working so replaced to wallbro. My car is r33 s2 97 all stock. Well, i called one of mine mechanic freiend to install it for me as i have no idea to install. As far as i know he just replaced the pump used the same wiring as the stock. And performances is fluctuating. When i fill the tank to the max the car lags the power and tend to go power cut and need to re start again and even if the fuel is about the quater happens the same. If i take sharp turn to left or right power tries to cut off. Called my mechanic friend explain it to him he has no idea. I just bought it 3 months ago havent enjoyed it yet. any idea regarding this issue. I know some brother will help this brother for sure...
