You haven't mentioned cost. A X-force will be better then a OEM unit i would think... just as a 3-4" metallic cat would be then a ceramic cat.

Assuming you've tested fuel and spark through normal means... could be a gasket leak (yes, im scared from my experiences..)

He did indeed, though I assumed that his figure came from his ECU - (which ever one that is)... ECU figure is (usually) based on the motor having XX0 of base timing... :Therefor: ECU readout timing, assumes a certain base timing. 10.5 AFR's is the kinda WOT figures you get from timid, unwary tuners imo.

...are you still on the side of the road with your phone? I so, put more more then 3L of fuel in the thing, considering it went so low it was spluttering... 3L would hardly fill the ridges in the tank for the securing straps.

Been watching the guys work building / tuning street and drag cars for at least 12 years. He gets flown around the world for work, has some of the worlds most powerful street rota's under his name... id say hes pretty switched on. That said, if he isn't familiar with RB's and the ECU you have, your not taking full advantage of his skill set. Id *druum roll* ...give em a call and see what he says.
