  1. LOL, i was about to say that... but figured a f.filter doesn't have a vac/boost line going to it...
  2. I love teh 80's, unambiguous grey box's the size of Beta tapes that do things like... switch between two different qualitative earths! GO 80's!!! sorry, thats all i got...
  3. Not sure where this thread is going, but watching keenly! I only first heard about this R32 "engine bay mounted f.pump resister pack" recently.
  4. Weld a sump bolt? Your game! hah
  5. Sweet! Not Daffy's, he was a floozy im told
  6. FYI, it considered best practice to not actuate things like BOV's from the same line as one that connects to a EBC, FPR, MAP sender etc. For these scenarios, a short, direct piece of line is recommended. Cheers
  7. Booo-Ya!
  8. R32's have a largish diam rubber pipe exiting the lower passenger side firewall. But it tucks tight to the firewall and is only ~200mm long. Doesn't look factory, what ever it is. Id suggest it might be from the charcoal cannister f.tank feed; are you missing the cannister? Jack the car up and trace it forward
  9. Outa interest, why don't you feel they're big enough?
  10. R33's have a two fpr's? What the... learn something knew every day
  11. Will that run ok u think, having both map senders feed from the one location?
  12. I know of a certain stock capacity 26 on here that made almost 800rwhp with 260's.... "restrictive" is a relative term.
  13. Clearly its the "Thrill of the chase" Ben...
  14. Thats right, be like the rest, only post up when your having issues, how bout just a "Hi, hows it going" thread for once? lol jk Intake pipes can go pop when they come off? Check real good.
  15. Yah, when i was thinking "spot weld" i meant a few beads with a TIG / MIG, not actually a proper electrical articulated spot welder. My issue with the tek screws, is that if they work loose, you'll be left with these nasty wizard sleeve holes in your firewall.
  16. f**k GT5P... i played non stop for like 48 hours.. and it broke my f**kn throttle finger! Serious RSI and swollen joints. I would have though nightly adolescent white tissue moments had strengthened my right hand sufficiently Now i got learn to use my middle finger...
  17. red line shoock proof - maybe the biggest improvement $per$ dooller spent on my car... ever.
  18. Wtf's a quart? Like a tennis court? jk -> R34 workshop manual @ Pauls33 site. Most pll drop the oil OUT from the bottom bolt and full through the SIDE bolt. Start pumping it in, stop when it starts spilling out the side..
  19. Which is why the zhuast place would sand n prep the surface, to remove, paint, primer, zinc coating. You could screw it in, but it seems a little messy.. and temporary. Lead foot ! lol
  20. Freeze a room temp bolt is different to cooling something like an intercooler. A single can wouldn't do dick me thinks Rem to search gentle'ladies, theres been some good talk on SAU If you were going to try something more expensive then a basic IC spray, i would have thought a C02 sprayer would the first option. Linky BOC must sell 10lbs refills fairly cheaply.
  21. nitestalkr, unless ur talking bout hoses feeding a input system like a map sensor (which can be mounted close to the pressure source anyway) i wouldn't worry bout the v.small +/_ in response time. How often are you looking at the gauge when quick pressure changes are occurring? I think a gauge is really only a rough indication anyway, specially when the needle is moving quickly. Again, this doesn't apply to A>D conversion, like map senders, logging box's etc feeding closed loop systems. To answer your Q more, many gauge sets come with a small ID nylon line, instead of normal wider vac hose.
  22. Are threads like this even allowed on SAU? .....
