  1. Arent they just cold, multi electrode units, i don't get it.
  2. Have a good think about what your trying to achieve, snot too hard. People use grounding kits to avoid different qualitative earths in a engine bay... so you reckon earthing the battery at the rear chassis is good enough?.... Ppl do, but personally (man, friends say i give too much away) you need to run a earth to the engine bay. Not as thick as the power cable, 4G say. Iv seen so many issues caused by crap earth's, for something so simple, ppl seem to forget it (even if its not apparent, its causing them issues) 0/2G to the front, 250A fuse (should survive the starter motor drain) earthing kit in the bay. Run the cable under the car, or inside depending. ( I prefer inside) Take the time to wack in a kill switch. Simply popping it, instead of removing a battery terminal is a god send when working on your car. I tend to over engineer everything, specially when its mission critical; You can decide to make it as simple, or as extravagant as you want.
  3. Scandy flick and hang it out - do the front wheels kick in? 70+ km/h, do you feel the rear wanting to correcting when weight shifting quickly for a corner?
  4. Thats some insanely impressive footage, if its hasn't been touched up Color sat, light change sensitivity and shock resistance is outa control for the price! *checks bank balance*
  5. OMG, sooo cuuuute, I'v melted into a puddle! 180 isn't too bad, is it pure, looks like its olds were a little confused? It could keep my 83yo (dog year) Jack/F.terrier company
  6. Shameless bullet True though, if i wasnt a 5foot, 2inch IT geek with thiiick glasses, and right arm with 3 fingers, id wanna hang the dood topsy turvy, and bleed him dry... Maybe its just we're enthusiasts ha
  7. This a farked forum thread wid all the deleting. Guess SAU incrementally backup
  8. Wtf's with the throttle body linkage tower thingo at a 900 angle?
  9. Back on topic Spots on bar? What rear muffler have you got? Short tip? Do you warm the car up for a good time, with a roller garage door behind you etc?
  10. Magneto straight from Satan's bed side table Even street push rod Dinosaurs need a good bolstering, hence the nice MSD style setups. CDI and multiple sparks per cycle just seem like common sense to me, specially at low rpm, where funky cams doing their overlap thing.
  11. ha, too low bro! some oval mufflers have quiet a thin profile, looks around.
  12. Air -> Water IC's (what i think you meant) still needs a heat exchanger (rad like) People use thermos on those heat exchangers... thermos on a Air -> Air should work just well maybe? Try it, let us know
  13. Any jap hipo box pusher, nengun, perfectrun, greenline etc. ~$600
  14. Good work dood, polishing is a farking khunt by hand... did a RB26 plenum.. never again. PS: Humidity is g o o d for petro chemical combustion motors. Water vapor aids chamber mixture outer shell shedding. (burning) Embrace the shirt sticking your back rofl.
  15. well then, somwhere between relay.. and pump... theres a break?
  16. ^^ yup, so its clicking, which means its been triggered correctly. Rem a relay is a switch, thats turned on/off with a a small current. The small current, or trigger, is working... so its switching.. but is there INPUT voltage to it? As in, is the power that will be sent to the pump, present at the relay? Sorry if my explanation is shite, im tired EDIT: Re-read your post.. sorry. Ok, well if its switching, and you have power to IT.. but no power at pump... couldnt there not be a break / aftermarket dead fuse between those points?
  17. +2 Not complicated. B.box (i like Moroso's ANDA cert'd), some 0 Guage, distro blocks, carefull planning, proper rubber bungs and rust preventative on chassis holes cut. Done. Benefit in a GTR is weight moving from front driver side, to rear pass side. Not hard. PS: I hate despise those $20 black strap down ones. Looks like recycled shoe lace ends.
  18. Not too complicated, slike a hybrid CDI / transistor switched coil charging system. Bread and butter V8 thing, to help thier shite dizzy / single coil setups. I'm a massive fan of strong ignition systems, and big (.8-1.0) gaps, and HKS make it soo damm easy these days
  19. Id start with measuring your actual intake temps, take a common, do some plots over time, otherwise your just faping into a carrot cake. Water spray while standstill i find isn't soo effective (well not as much as Id want it to be) The water itself isn't cooling the IC, its the latent heat thats absorbed in the state change from liquid to gas (evaporation) Hence, without the air moving over it, kinda hindered. Thermos and a water setup could work well me thinks, if you really need to prevent heat soak while standstill. If state change heat absorption is your game, iv always been interested in those C02 IC sprayers. C02 is dirt cheap, and in 30s can have a ice covered IC when dead still. I had almost ordered one, but a change meant it wouldn't work with my setup. Thinking aloud EDIT: After getting some base figures, first try air guides first as mentioned - a must.
  20. Don't want to interrupt your little chat, but... GT make sure the frame that coil packs bolt to is well grounded to the head. Sand the contact points, use some of that conductive grease the japs love. Try not to gap it down. No one seems to bolster ign systems in piston imports much; they just keep decreasing the gap. I think CDI or at least the HKS twin spark is a must for your type of power.. Imo.
  21. Cannon at the back to impress the lads at the country club, and a second muffler half way that actually does some muffling RB's sound like trucks when they drone lol
  22. You say the relay works; though is power getting to the relay?
  23. Hey Dunc's, Yah sorry, I meant in the entire 4 years iv been on SAU... its never worked. Its traggic; the more i help ppl ''one on one'' through PM's... the more often i need to archive PM's Would really like someone to help me with this, as im sick copying / pasting PM's to a saved doc filed Any help would be massivally appreciated!!! Obi wan, ur my only hope
  24. Hey lads, As title, i go to archive, set the specs, though an email containing a CSV is never rx'd on my email account? Is there a trick i need to be implementing? does my account need to be re-jigged? Cheers M
