  1. Does the magnet trick really work...
  2. Why would you and your cannon be 'lucky' for not getting 'busted' when you were doing the about the speed limit?... Stevie_Elk was close back in post 19.
  3. IDIII's a good bita kit eh Only last week I heard a story about a SVI RX7 with upgraded hi flows, simultaneous mod, inj, pump reg, blah take 3 WOT pulls to achieve near ruler flat boost control and ~285rwkw's. Its been around for years, I'm surprised... others still get surprised Good work Trent for taking the time.
  4. A PVC end cap, tire valve and a servo air compressor is about as easy as it gets hey
  5. Onit, twas what I was hinting. Id try it this way, before spending more money.
  6. Yah, if your not quick enough with this nipple loosen / tighten, (for what eva reason) use some vac hose over the nipple into a bottle with some fluid in there; insures no air goes back into the line. I try and not to though, as with a hose, you cant use a nice load distributing socket.
  7. Nah, the four dudes above you were lying.
  8. Many automotive aerosols spray a volatile liquid, so when ingested and subsequently combusted, will often offset the air leak, causing the revs pickup. Brake cleaner is used, as it drys without leaving a residue. I doubt you'd have any chance of igniting the spray, bar spraying it on a red hot manifold (even then...) Before following your mates advice, trying pressuring the inlet tract with a air compressor / servo tire compressor. Look around (300ZX club) theres basic instructions on making a AFM sized plug (PVC end cap) with a tire valve tapped in; they're priceless and have helped many people I know.
  9. Wigidy wack, be sure to update this thread; hugely intrigued.
  10. Zomg gurl, 80's for real! Massive Massive'r the time sync / audio is wicked - let your ears... haang... dooown... While im here, and we're talking bout filmage that shook my menial life, and going places that don't need roads? to Christ, that shit scared me like thermite
  11. Bump bump! Not being a wanker, just making sure ppl get exposure to this thread. Its intensely impressive reading about someones desires, and how they translate into CAD designs, more thoughts, manufacture then use. Its a auto mech eng wet dream.

  13. Hahaha hey man, i got no excuse, I left that place 2 months back Now im a soon to be VoIP expert.. or so they tell me ...
  14. For less then ~$100 for your average 700 SARD, or ~$130 for a 600 Nismo, don't think I'd waste time thinking about anything else haha.
  15. The inj's you want, are almost certainly made in Jpn; get em from there.
  16. You cant change the ratio afaik, its either 1:1 always or not. (almost all are 1:1 for FI applications) The adjustment is for setting the initial base pressure. 40, 43, 50, 55psi what ever; then every pound plenum boost pressure gets added on top. Figure out a way of reading fuel pressure (mates, dads shop should have a mech gauge and some fittings) then adjust the Nismo reg as required.
  17. Fuel line, pressure oscillation dampener?
  18. Do you mean the AC assist thermo?
  19. I disagree, a quality worm clamp can be much easier to source and fit then t-bolts.
