  1. What on earth is a motherboard???!!!?? geeks
  2. Pissed off, my shit box laser cracked a water pump housing on friday night, then the clutch slave cylinder promptly gave out in my sisters excel this morning... which i was supposed to sell Boo hooo
  3. Holy shit Congrats on finding the f_ckers
  4. First up, I'd talk to Yavus about what he thinks about your hesitation, as he clearly would have noticed it. What turbos have you got - surge maybe? PFC's don't have RR. 112 knock is bad, don't do it. Datalogit / power excel to check the knock flash setting. Fuel pressure gauge should show a f.pump weakness.
  5. Searchy McSearch 'n'search found this pretty quick PHATR32's - Fixing Your Rb26 Afm's, and maybe other afms too
  6. Search the Maintenance section, there was a Swedish dood with the same code 21 - Primary Ignition Signal. Not a solution, but could give you some idea's, here and here
  7. Legible writing could help Check your PCV valve, and do a comp test. Good luck
  8. Interesting latency changes have an effect on your car. Tweaking them on a SR I know, makes no difference at all. PFC re-initialize?
  9. I'm trying real hard to not laugh At least this comment makes sense now Get the soldering iron out.
  10. Bolting a buzzing solenoid to chassis will make it fairly audible, yes. Take note how manufactures mount them, and how loud the buzzer on a security door is, when its activated... they are effectively transducers
  11. I never knew Prank was so "open speech" that rocks / makes me fuzzy. Baby jesus might know how i haven't received a warning yet (I sure don't) so i cant be labeled a whiner But its a tad alarming, the claims being thrown around here, makes me thinking about the partial "mod rotation" comment. SAU must be about 6yrs old, ppl change, as do forums; maybe new thoughts and ideas and worth the trade off in experience. As dangerous to my account names health as it could be, I think a mods power is similar to ANY other position of power within society. If one is proven without a doubt, to be abusing it, or letting emotion rule to a detriment of SAU... his role should be seriousaly looked at. Prank appeared honest above, I think more users need to sincerely take note.
  12. Lower reaction and the WM setup, i wanna see
  13. Id heard over 10yrs ago how bad they are stock. 3yrs ago I saw mine and my brain exploded. "Not the Godzilla" i said. But these days i realize a restriction at that point is more of a top end restriction, then a response killer (think WRC restrictors). I still believe Nissan furiousally developed the GTR with Group A solely in mind; sketchy manifolds would limit power for the Gentleman's agreement, but allow race teams to port match IMO, any whoo... I'd truly thought mine were a dud batch. Researching found it was v.old news to the japs. Mine looked like Jimx's. Manifolds went to Smokey; I went single. Hrrrm, the whole "stock vs aftermarket stainless"... Iv seen too much info from Japland, US and here that says when the stockers are abrasive ported (extrude hone, power port woteva) they ~match aftermarket ones for power & response. Being cast i would think they are more durable / retain heat. If i was doing twins, it'd be a no brainer in my head, but meh, im not getting into that one.
  14. Seeing as the signal loss from the AFM occurred when you ... removed the plug, I'd assume the loom is damaged around the plug area. Search for pin designations, and test for good ground, power etc. Get someone to wiggle the plug while you check the hand controller, go from there. What did you clean the AFM hot wire with? EDIT: F5 before clicking submit, when will i learn.
  15. ^^ lol, you scared them off with that intimidating avatar picture Stockers are both in the top hose housing. I assume the single pin one's for the dash gauge, and the twin pin ones for the ECU. I think its a case where Nissan got it correct from factory; IE, i cant imagine how doubling the motors output with all the good bits would warrant a sensor location change (electric water pump setups aside) Silly Q: but why cant you use the stock locations? If you'd welded it up, I'd tap some holes in the same location, save you from using one of those gaudy top hose thingo's thats all the jibber jabber i got
  16. Good work man! M.fold > turbo fit is shocking, makes me wonder if it was done to limit power from factory?
  17. Earls block adaptor, filter mount, oilstat and fittings Holly or Summit
  18. Your crankcase is being pressurized. Checking the PCV valve would be my first check too.
  19. They are a right royal PITA. You might have to move the aftermarket stuff to get access; what looks to be a Greddy boost sensor, solenoid, grounding cables, and coolant thingo. Maybe the injector resistor ballast too. I find the tools cumbersome. When you can reach it, clean it with some throttlebody / brake cleaner for a good grip. Loud swearing helps too
  20. LoL, not mine. Its from the 2nd page of a google results with moderate filtering. ... my doll setups are fluro haired trolls on a barbie
  21. LoL, Yah, very "arty" looking pictures... hah
  22. Seat belt indicator.
  23. Thread just doesn't die Surely a loop would only add 200mm of hose, and would add, what do the boffins call it? - linear head wall friction something or other? I cant imagine the friction of air and fumes on the inside of a rubber hose would amount to much, def not cause fuel tank combustion / pressurization Regardless, mines been setup as described ok b4 it got taken off the road... Time well tell, SAU will def know if my car blows up ... dammit, now im stress'in out
  24. Hi there, Be sure to read the manual
