  1. LoL, come on, what I look like?.... wait, don't answer that Correct position and some wide rubber / polyurethane tube around the AFM plug, to stop any moisture / dust getting in there. I'm not quiet sure why ppl buy the plug. Guess ill find out soon. Will do a DIY too.
  2. Would depend on how "on the limit" it was the start off with too. I wouldn't have thought a air box mod would change fuel requirements all that much, alas agree with you. Get it tuned after all your mods are done.
  3. Hey man, What type of EFI hose from Pirtek? Many of mates and I have spent countless hours thinking of solutions. From speedflow/earls Teflon braid (with the braid removed) clamped onto the hose end. Using hard line and race fittings. Doing a little group buy from Nissan JPN @ $100/meter,etc Cheers!
  4. Wouldnt it be fair to say though, that when your doing 5650rpm at WOT, 1.5bar boost, that the engine is using the same amount of air, as all the other times, that those attributes were present? ... ish
  5. Most of the common K&N's are an wet oiled type. I personally wouldn't run em (again) on a AFM packing Skyline
  6. What'a know.. works in IE and not FF EDIT: I lied.... I get the connection refused error in IE. Manually typing in the address.. "/server ezehost.il.us.austnet.org" (without qoutes) Gives the same result... Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection refused: connect Bugger... I am on a locked down work PC though.
  7. I just get a blank white page with... Java Webchat for IRC Network AustNet IRC Server: irc.austnet.org:6667 IRC Channel: #SAU At the top?
  8. AMF is the black tube with a plug between your airbox and turbo. The below has the air box removed, but the AFM (looks like a Z32) is the thing wida orange sticker, just behind the pod filter. Not sure what GB solinoid your referring to. You've got a auto i assume? There are a few R34 auto owners around, they'll maybe be able to assist. So you should be!! Jk Cheers
  9. ^^ Go on man, its dead easy. All thats required are some spanners, pliers and a sense of adventure!
  10. Higher gear means more load. Unlike some ppl who can get incorrect knock readings from dodgey senders or noisy setups, you are most likely experiencing the real deal. 130 is bad btw - don't hit it, and get it checked ASAP
  11. Close - If that was indeed a true reading, I would think the motor would be dead after the first good hit. There are two senders; - A "on / off' type that illuminates when there little to no pressure - A varible pressure sender that drives the gauge If a little red light appears under the needle then you are in trouble. I would say your like 99% of all the other Skyline owners with low readings... you have a dud sender / gauge. Replace sender with a new one, or go after market asap. You know what they happens when pilots don't trust their gauges The other option is of course, the backing plate has come off your oil pump, preventing you from reaching proper oil pressure. Could get it checked out at a shop with a proper gauge.
  12. Stock sender and gauge are known to go faulty.. on more then one occasion, yes.
  13. Before spending 80bux on two plugs, can one use some small female spade terminals to attach to the AFM?? I'm giving that a go before departing cash for the real thing.
  14. Daaem thats cheap! To think I've been looking on jap import sites like a sucker
  15. Wtf daz was random. Its a bot for sure... Whats a serious Japanese radiator?
  16. Dunno bout that. Ending up with a custom, cheaper and more individual solution then the more common internet Jap brands.. has a certain charm
  17. Step 1: Don't buy beer for 2 weeks. Step 2: Use afore mentioned money ~500, and use to buy the best metal cat you can. I'd suggest maybe a 4-5 inch depending on your power goals, from S M B Step 3: Never worry about ur cat again...
  18. Some Jpn company makes a doohicky that feeds the AFM inputs of your ECU, with that from a MAP sensor. Fancy micorcontroller HKS? maybe? And i thought most ppl can get 300-330rwkw from a Z32?
  19. Im with Scott. Apexi filters are 120 each, so $240 for them. Buying the above, your paying 250 for hose clamps, silicon piping (they don't see pressure) and some form fitted piping - eeek!
  20. 14.503'ish
  21. Fuel check? - Pull the plugs to check for wet electrodes Ignition check? - pull a coil and plug out, allow to earth on cam cover. have sum1 else check if the plugs sparking
  22. If your not getting a signal to injector, just trace it back to the ECU; there could be a dodgy connection somewhere. Could be happening more often when your on it, as there’s more heat, movement, vibration. The other option, is what occurred to me. I had a cylinder keep cutting out every now and then. Two days later that corresponding injector driver in the PFC died. Had to send it back to Apexera to be fixed.
  23. Sold Pending Payment Like hot cakes, damm :0 Quick reach around maybe Cheers man
  24. Yah, for the front of it to get punched out like that, id thought the peddle wold have to over extend. Check the fulcrum point under the dash. Very strange.
  25. Another happy customer
