  1. Another top cruise guys. Was great to meet some people in real life and see some cars that weren't on the Victor Harbor cruise couple months back. Hope those that got picked up by the po-po didn't get slammed with anything too serious!
  2. Oh woops haha what was I thinking...
  3. Yeah hit me with a PM too... I just realised this cruise was tomorrow
  4. I have a mate who has bought two R33s from Redline, and another mate who just bought a '91 Soarer from them as well. Both guys loved the cars, had no major hassles with them, and from what I can see of the cars, look quite clean. I haven't bought a car or anything from Sinergy, but they did the compliance work for my GT-R and they are really good blokes, did a good job with a lot of mechanical work on my car as well. Good luck
  5. Wow boys nice work. Some good suggestions here and sweet photos! I tried a few spots last nite, but I have decided I need a tripod for the cam, long exposure shots don't work too well when you have to hold it! Blurry as hell
  6. Looking to find some nice places around the place to take some decent photos of the car. Does anyone have a favourite spot thats good for photos? Like interesting backgrounds whether it be a nice view or graffiti or anything like that? Post up pics of your car there if you want! Need some inspiration
  7. Ah ha.. there is the sticker I was talking about... above the URL one that he's selling. I wouldnt mind something small like that. Looks nice.
  8. True, but www.skylinesaustralia.com.au doesn't bring up this site. Just some dodgy looking car search page. I remember seeing an SAU sticker on some R32 in a photo. I think it was interstate. From memory was SAU in white thin capital letters and then something like red circles or something underneath. Looked sweet, I'll see if I can find the pic again (not likely lol)
  9. Haha yeah my mate drives an RX-7 and he always says how other rotary drivers wave at each other. I haven't experienced that driving my car! No-one waves back
  10. Thanks mate I'm sure this will come in handy
  11. Haha ok 'bryde' it is then
  12. Sorry mate, I wouldn't know where to get them in Adelaide. I just wanted to know if its pronounced "bryde" or "bree-da" I've heard both, but I think its "bree-da" as thats how the Japanese would pronounce it?
  13. Haha that was me in front. Was good fun boosting past all those bloody Commodores eh ? I also had to leave early to take a mate back for soccer, but for my first cruise, had an awesome time, great cars, nice people. Big thanks to Adam HR32 and anyone else involved in the organisation of today.
  14. Yeah I thought the tapping in my GTR were the injectors, but turns out its the cams or something. What you can do to be sure is get a screwdriver and press it against an injector and put your ear at the other end. If the tapping coming through the screwdriver is in time with the tapping you can hear standing by the car, its the injectors. Otherwise, hold the screwdriver on all the bits and pieces until you find the tapping that matches. If that makes sense...
  15. I'd take some, except don't fit R32s...
  16. Hey man that looks awesome. Where did you get the R34 GT-R emblem from? I'm after one myself.
  17. Good stuff
  18. Wow this sounds interesting!
  19. Congrats man, looks real nice. Hope you have lots of fun with it!
  20. Beat me to it
  21. I'm hoping to come along as well, could I get a PM? Also have we decided whether other cars are welcome or not? Just Skylines?
  22. Duno about the Aussie delivered ones, wouldn't think you'd have to change anything on them as they would already comply with Australian standards? Registration after Regency cost me, stamp duty was over $700 bucks, then 3 months rego, plates etc etc
  23. Cost me about $2,000 for workshop stuff, another grand or so for Regency, rego etc etc Thats not normal price for compliance though, got new upper contol arm bushes, new front brake rotors, pads and brake lines and right hand front drive shaft and boot. Without all those things done, would've come in around.. $700. But my car was NSW complied anyway so I guess I'm a bad example! I think the average price is about $1200, but if your car isn't in perfect condition, costs can rise pretty quickly!
  24. Haha nice... If you REALLY wanna get it through sooner, call around some compliance shops, see if they have any cars that aren't gonna be ready by their Regency date, and see if you can snatch it up (might cost $$$) Thats what happened to me, there was an RX-7 that wasn't quite done so I stole his spot!
  25. Yeah I'm so happy. I didn't take the car through, I got PVP Imports to do it, because they fixed up a few things before today. I thought it would have a better chance being taken through by a regular workshop guy than some 19 year old punk <_< lol No worries, come on over. I'd love to finally see the R34 in the flesh B)
