  1. when i was driving up port wakefield rd a few days ago, i saw a light blue 200sx - shark eyes model, with a custom body kit. is that the supposively "fully sik" 200. looked liked it was going to this weeks auto salon - didnt see the plates so i dont know if its local or interstate, but probabarly interstate.

    duc are u on?
  5. I would, alhough it depends on how cheap it is compared to say local stores like viva/jms/hikari and how long it takes to arrive in Aust - even by sea.
  6. mel, roughly how much are focal 11" subs. utopia model i think. if you stock them that is.
  7. subwoofer discount?
  8. i have webpage programs - with serial numbers. ie. golive 5, dreamweaver. typical ones.
  9. mel, i would love to come and talk to you about car audio. what is the address at tea tree gully? didnt know one existed - though it was only at wayville. in regards to rear of the car, as andrew has stated its better to just go with subs. I agree with that but am considering other options. Im wondering if a sub would perform better then splits considering with a sub you may need an additonal amp - especially if you have a 15" ie hippy!. [im assuming here] Currently i have k-series 6.5" kickers, alpine mrv*** amp [cant remember the model number]. My amp doesnt seem to have enough power to run a sub - which was bridged. Thats why im considering rear splits unless a sub + amp with a good price comes up. btw andrew what model is your sub - type r/s?
  10. this isnt duc its me annie but all u guys car about is ur car, dammie duc and hippy sitting in a tree hehhee, but anyway hippy ducs rite, u wont be able to buy back ones that work well for under 100 say about 150 and over
  11. bump
  12. btw i just went through a stratfield catalogue, yes i know they are ghey, but if your looking at < $100 then maybe have a look their.
  13. a little side track here but have you notice that its you and me who are interested in car audio in adelaide. all other adelaide skyline owners on here are performance enthusist. just my observation. may be their car audio is exhuast/bov/screamer pipes?. haha
  14. wdf is greenline?
  15. front splits are clear is only when the engine is running that you can slightly hear the squeeling. anyways, speaker shopping sounds like a good idea. group discount consisting of two people [u and me]. haha. lowest setting on splits - i cant adjust my spilts, well i dont think so anyways unless you mean by adjusting gain through the amplifier. I need more bass! =(

    brakes

if this is the case, then when i got my brake pads replaced they obviously threw my anti squeel pads into the bins. is so, where can i get another set from?. the squeeling is unbarable.
  17. hello guys/girls recently ive got some splits for the front of my car. now im considering to get either rear speakers - 6" or go with getting another pair of splits. My question is weather this is a/ worth it considering that i wont be sitting in the back b/ go ahead as for the price of 6" depending on its brand can get you some resonable splits - again depending on its brand Taking into consideration that in the near future im getting a sub also - anyone in adelaide selling one that is boxed, 11" >. so if i do get splits [highly likely] would this distort the sound that a sub produces considering the splits midrange is pretty bassy itself or would the splits in the rear would require no sub at all. oh btw im still getting high pitched noises from my front splits even when all my wires are insulted/twisted and cables earthed. can someone help explain this reason. thanx.
  18. its right next to where pizza hut used to be heading towards the beach. Between there and the mazda dealer. You cant miss it, big sign with a showroom consisting of smick imports.
  19. ive just purchase a harness of an import dealer. and after paying additional costs [harness] i dont want to get it installed by a pro. im saying this b/c im having trouble installing it with the harness[ffs]. Where is the plug for this thing, i dont know where it is. Do i need to remove a plug which is already connected to other wires. Im starting to regret this purchase, should have just bought a new timer. ah wells.
  20. faz toyz from its appearance is an importer. They have a show room on port rd with some very nice imports especially the skylines - r34 tt, r32 gtr?. Ill have a look on saturday if im down there -

    brakes

Ive had my brakes in for about a month now [bendix advance on both front and rears]. i purchased these as its cheap [pro] compared to ebc which i dont have money if i wanted anyways. my car doesnt have that much power atm so no need for ebc - its stock, any1 know there rwkw?. There seems to be little to no dust brakes that i have noticed therefore no need to clean mags that often. Its very responsive so braking is good and instant. It does however squeel awfully in the mornings [con] - i assume because its very cold, but when warmed like other brake pads the squeel goes away slighly. What i found interesting however it that with my previous pads it didnt squeel no matter if it was very cold/cold or hot.
  22. i bought my car with a "factory" strut brace on it and if i get defected for it then thats just sad.
  23. since this is about new performance businesses, has anyone seen the new import dealer? called faz toyz down port road - i stop by and drowl at the cars whenever i visit my gf.
