  1. I'll take it for $150 inc post to Adel, SA cheers edit - is clutch a pull or push type? since mine is a series 2, I supposively need a pull type.
  2. oh dang, will do steve
  3. well being phat could get you in trouble which isnt worth it. thats why i took mine out when i got my alarm. other way is if you want to use the tt, just dont pull up the hand brake when you turn off your engine.
  4. easier way is get an alarm with tt built in.
  5. to bring back a dead thread, are you (r33s2) still making these?
  6. i remember, wasnt it at mitre 10 or something? those were indeed the days...
  7. the plates ytryme on still on r33 gtr? owner is a nice guy
  8. i hope when you use the term 'cutting laps' they arent giving the rest of us skyline owners a bad name. ie posing down hindley/rundle etc etc
  9. spotted again on magill rd a maroon series 2 @ what looks to be a furniture store - see it most times i drive past there, seems the owner works there. anyone from here?
  10. ive seen one before, owner was going to sell the roof racks seperately. in saying that, was your custom or off the shelf? i wouldnt mind buying a pair.
  11. it was bought unregistered and seems he hasnt had the time to comply it since. has changed alot from what i 1st saw it (at dyno day prior to you buying it). good luck
  12. well when i had my sil80. it only had lowered springs/shocks, locked diff, twin plate clutch, fmic and front pipe back exhaust and it was so much easier to get the rear wheels (~167rwkw's) to lose traction not to mention allowing it to step out sideways. obviously this was due to its power to weight ratio unlike the r33. with the 33, im not sure about the coilovers spring rates but it only allows height adjustment. no damper adjustments etc etc. the car isnt lowered that excessively so i dont think i need any rear camber adjustments atm so just front components from the advice that you guys have given. cheers
  13. yes car is a series 2. and ignitors built in coilpack. but i didnt think that would have mattered?
  14. i was kind suprised no one here picked up on the fact that you got EPA's. we dont have that here in SA.
  15. thats for the prompt replies. merlin - i have very stiff coilovers in atm as well as locked diff (which was told basically acts as a 2way and from having it in since, it sure does act like one). i got the factory series 2 rear strut brace as well as front brace. added to that is a hicas lock bar i installed bout month ago. so having said that, all i need from the list i stated is - adjustable tension rods (for extra lock i presume?) salad - i was thinking about sway bars but forgot to mention in my original post - so gtr items are indeed thicker then gtst items. yes, i would have to look into that as well cause if thats the case then its cheap upgrade for sure.
  16. hey guys, i would like to set up my suspension so that my car is able to slide easier without necessarily requiring too much power. ive read descriptions about what tension rods, camber arms etc etc do but would like to know what are the essentials required. these are the parts in which i have seen avaliable so far for r33's - adjustable suspension arms - adjustable tension rods - adjustable front lower arm bar brace - alloy subframe bushes - adjustable rear camber kit - adjustable rear traction rod - adjsutable rear toe rod having listed the above parts, you can see how easily im confused as in what parts are classed as essential and what are basically 'braging' parts. any suggested is much appreciated edit - car is an r33 which currently has tanabe coilovers, hicas lock bar, locked diff and front/rear strut brace
  17. ok, let me correct no. 2 i use to have a kinda surge feeling when i boosted it. it would only boost to about .1 bar when the accelerator was flattened and just feel like its lost all power and then pick up again. makes it feel really bad and kinda like its cutting out and then boosting again - if that makes sense. now however, it boosts fine and feels like it pulls harder. i drive the thing so i would know the before and after effects. but having said that, technically wouldnt a working o2 sensor help the ecu adjust its a/f ratio when boosting?
  18. just purchased this earlier today and installed it/took it for a drive earlier and it seems to fixed a few issues i had. 1/ doesnt seem to hunt on idle anymore 2/ it now boosts better then before 3/ it rev's more freely. at the same time, i changed my fuel filter which i think assisted with the change in characteristics
  19. just had a look at mine a while ago and it looks metal as well. unless the actual 'metal' is junk and once cleaned it comes up with the copper look.
  20. and how did you reattach the springs or doesnt it get reattached but just sits in there?
  21. Hey guys, Does anyone have a pfc suited for r33 for sale. Im not in a hurry to purchase one, but if the price is right then we can talk. It doesnt matter if it comes with hand controller or not. cheers, Duc.
