Guys, Ive been reading on ns.com and there seems to be an awful lot of imports being stolen. 180sx/skylines, you name it. Lock up your pride and joys and be cautious of where you leave it if its for extended periods of time. A recent thread I read there was a silver r33 series 2 stolen in broad daylight. Remember to lock up your cars. If you havent got an alarm/imobilisor, YOU SHOULD BE SHOT! seriously, get one now FFS! May not prevent them from being stolen but it will sure as hell make it harder not to mention pre-requiste for insurance purposes. I was told from a mate (Vange) who was followed by an undercover cop last night. So from this I gather that they will be more inclined to follow/check on us due to the fact that we drive imports. Just a head up people.

thats very dangerous. if you look closely in the installation manual it states these type of alarms with remote start are only designed for automatics.

Well if no one is wiling to make them - there was discussion on here about it before, Im just going to get a one off for myself. I see soo many skylines and without any identification, I dont know whether to compliment the owner or just have a quick look as I pass and be done with it. The thing is most skyline owners in SA dont frequent these forums and if you say nice car or hey are you on SAU they are just like 'WDF' or snubb you off completely. At with a sticker, they can say oh I saw a xxxx color skyline with a sau sticker rather then I saw this xxxx car whose was it? Some ppl say it attracts unwanted attention but I think otherwise especially if its discrete.

thats why we need stickers to identify who uses sau forums and who dont. either on side quarter, rear window or along the front side of front windscreen. you feel like an idiot after greeting another skyline owner who just give you that 'wdf look'.

I remember seeing a white 350z a while back with what looked to have had nismo bodykit options that had the most nicest exhaust note for a NA, far better then vtec. But yes, I wouldnt get one for performance wise but rather comfort, style and luxy as far as affordable luxy sports cars go considering it has bose system and leather seats. That cima is indeed pimping, Japan do know how to make cars but more importanly style them with great aftermarket options.

Gosh $36k and not even an 'import'. Im thinking a VQ would be on par with a N/A rb25 if not better due to its higher displacement. No doubt the interior of the 350z are awesome, just curious as to how good it would be in stock form - say the track spec one's. Never driven a car at the showroom's before, is there alot involved before they let you give one a go I wonder..

Has anyone here actually driven either a 350z or rx8 (some ppl on this forum says the mazda 3 turbs are better). Opinions besides the looks - exterior and interior.

Anyone seen or know of a dark blue rx8 with a very very low bodykit (Wise sport type) going around Adelaide sporting trade plates. Apprently it has force induction of some short.
