  4. great in theory but as well all know in practice unexpected sh!t happens and it takes way longer then expected. you know that bolt we tried to get off andrew? well we ended up screwing it up again - thank gosh we later had access to vice grips.
  5. sounds like their are ppl keen andrew. maybe you should organise a day/time etc through pm or however way you like.
  6. cool, i was reading that. hopefully the bar comes in the next few days. gonna paint mine black and get some pineapples.
  7. to geoff and anyone else, have you driven this lock bar on a r33 with a 'shimmed' diff and rock hard coilovers? because this is my setup atm without hicas lock bar and would like to know if anyone can give me some idea of how it would be like, particularly with regards to slow speeds. also, would the lock bar benefit my car even more with this additional mod? car is an r33 gtst.
  8. Sam, did you replace the hicas yourself and also did you get the rear wheels aligned. Im going to order one this arvo.
  9. no, i'll be returning it
  10. would a stuffed o2 sensor caused idle hunting issues at all though??
  11. sorry i didnt drop by today. went to a mates and when i left it was bout 6:30, so though next time. that and the fact that his area - stoneyfell, had no reception didnt help to notify you. but yeah, a occasional mod day would be sweet. i had this chat with vange a while back, he's keen on the idea - actually i think it was his idea.
  12. where you get your hicas lock bar again sam, it was friggn thick!!! was it the user from this forum....the one thats $150 delivered?
  13. yeah i need well alignment for sure. as well as hicas lock and front/rear whiteline sway bars.
  14. 2535? nice, my mate had one before he sold his skyline. your son will have a ball with it.
  15. Well someone had to take the pics. your right sam. car is stiff - stupidly stiff. I drove on all road surfaces since saturday and omfg, adel's road is so bumpy. I went for a drive in the hills, suspension loves it but diff scares the sh!t out of me - coilovers + diff = wierd noises when going over bumps. How's the blistein/whiteline package go so far, how was drive to murray?
  16. thats glare, not mirror finish. but looks the goods now since rear window tint has been replace, isnt that right mate?
  17. hence why im keeping them and may do the occassional bubble thought thing hehe your car looks just as good in that pic as it does in person. too bad i didnt take before and after pics of sam and my car. ah well, there always next time.
  18. pics speaks for themselves hahaha we should have regular mod days - i know guys in other states have them. just spend a saturday or sunday doing mods to each others cars over a few beers / lunch Again thanks for Andrew who went out of his way to come over and lend us his power tools. Much appreciated. Darren and Ash for lending us their tools and Darren for coming over in person to lend a hand.

  21. search my username and you should see a couple of threads in which i started regarding front mount installs. one of those was on my r33 which also happens to be a series 2.
  22. ROFLMAO you should have seen the look on Pete's face when the brakes locked up - actually my face was just as surprised. Its driven by a chick now, she drove it like it had a standard clutch. She was like twin plate?..ok. ROFL
