  1. states defected vehicles. But honestly, if you vehicles has been cleared of being "unroadworthy" surely they are going to target you anyways no matter if your car is defected or not. Its just those who has had a canary before will more than likely get it again since their plates are on the computers records as a defectable vehicle.
  2. Im flicking through my local messanger today (as you do) and noticed in the law and order section an article titled "police target number plates". Well after reading it, not surprisingly they have been using an automatic number plate recognition camera/computer that allows them to identify stolen/unregistered/defected vehicles for the past year or so but havent publicised it until now. That a quote along the lines of "its primary purpose is crime reduction" which i belive is a load of nonsense. More like primary purpose is to hunt down and re-defect vehicles when they see an import drive past. Anyways, though i'd share that with you all.
  3. what 4doorsleeper said. With the prices that pfc are atm, it would be silly not to get one. Saves alot of money and trouble in upgrading from a safc.
  4. is the in-car dvd player a double din?
  5. nismo33 - whats the update on the clutch mate?
  6. Do you guys realise how heavy the stock boot lid is? When i took mine off to fit my stealth wing i was shocked by its weight. By welding/bogging up a stock boot lid to make it flat will just make it that much heavier - if you just want the looks then i guess you dont have a problem with that. But yeah, as others have mentioned a cf boot from someone like speedworks will save you time and problem but in return cost you alot of money.
  7. its a shame your not in Adelaide. Seats looks very nice.
  8. If you look in the wasteland i have been saying what you have mentioned so many times maxx.
  9. if your going to use the STAFF 98 ron fuel that im sure it should be ok if you got it tuned to take 98 ron fuel no matter what it comes from ie Staff/bp/mobil. But what is the point in using 100 ron fuel if you only use it once in a blue moon?
  10. I saw Sin City a while ago and i must that that was one of the best movies i have seen lately. I though land of the living dead was quite disappointing actually. Havent seen wedding crashers yet but its previews on tv looks quite funny. Anyone seen The Island yet?
  11. anyone see any movies over the weekend? I saw kung fu hustle and was laughing in stiches. Damn stephen chow is funny.
  12. you have pm Darren. =D
  13. Quote from a user from ns.com "Hey Guys Well here is everthing explained in black and white. The JMS Name and web address where bought by a mate of mine here in Gawler who has been doing small import stuff for years and was involved with JMS back in the early days. His name is Ben Stack his dad Bernie Stack is involved in alot of the classic rallies here in SA and the Targa tasman. Bernie is also a owner of Gawler Bodyworks Crash Repairers. Bernie also owns our building where i work. Ben will be operating just as a web based company for the time being and slowly build himself up. I will be helping him out with a few things here and there as basically he is going to operate out of our workshop here at GraphiX. Ben has two cars here atm which are for sale a complied cefiro and the uncomplied (will be complied) skyline that you most probably saw at autosalon. He also has a container of engines and other bits coming soon so keep a watch on the site to see when it gets here. Also as for the old JMS premises well 'BULLIVANTS' a cable and rigging company will be moving in their so no more skids "
  14. im assuming your talking bout the white gtr33 of their's. If so, im sure it did but was just asking if n1gtr33 owns it now. As ive seen the exact same one all the time in the unley area when im down there. Only thing that it was missing are the stickers.
  15. my tires will hate me if i did that to them.
  16. ill find the route directions that i printed out for everyone on the last cruise. Will pm you the directions if you like if/once i find it again.
  17. that go cart, im assuming its a go-kart, looks like absolute fun. Wish i was driving that when we were at the richmond go-karting place.
  18. i should organise another hills run cruise as it seems ppl are eager to go on an "all skylines" cruise. Those who went last time would know the route, any takers?
  19. yeah sam i pinched it off there. Since not many ppl on here go to that website i might as well post up anything i find good from there. =D
  20. @n1r33gtr, do you happen to own the ex-jms white drag gtr by any chance?
  21. interesting. is it managed by ben stack now?
  22. hey sam, how was your weekend?
  23. twin plate installation harder than single h/d clutches?
  24. ive installed a couple of fmic in my time. First of, is it a kit ie just jap kit or the likes? I found that with these "bolt on" kits, it actually required alot more work than simply bolting it on. With the horns, you should have alot of room where the horns are located if its slightly pushing against the cooler then simply push it towards you. Best to post some pics up to get a better understanding of the problems your facing.
