    hey guy, thanks for the advice. yeah the bull's eye are obviously dents in the fenders. im using a block and all by hand. Its a big job but i dont have the necessary orbitor equipment so im just going to have to do without it. Im ust concentrating on the sanding atm and then will fill up the dents prior to applying the primer. I aint rushing it so should hopefully be ok.

    no problems. a certain someone asked me to install for them a fmic. So if it happens on the weekend, its more of an excuse to have a bbq.

    yeah i cant stand wearing gloves - pansy!! hehe. so i just use my bare hands and a block i made to sand it. I think the hrs upon hrs of my hands (right one) being soaked has not helped it.

    ah i see. i dont know if u still remember when you saw the sil80 but was the front fenders acrylic or 2pak paint in your opinion.

    taking bout hands, i have like blood blisters and crap cause of the sandpaper :pissed: My thumb and index finger are so sensitive now.

    can i prime straight over the fenders the way they look atm as long as there is no gloss and its basically flat? what does bite up mean anyways sam, i hear it alot but not sure.

    hehe oh btw sam, say if i was to paint it in acrylic would the acrylic primer be ok on top of the current primer that is on the hood or do i need to sand back to the red coat underneath that. I know that acrylic/2pak dont mix, so im kinda dumb founded.

    agree totally with you cefiro but i think he stated someone in his post that the policeman spefically assigned the inspection to be at regency. Maybe take it to the cop shop and hopefully they clear it there thus no need for regency.

    hey sam. yeah its really hard to tell at the quality of my sanding by looking at those pics. The bonnet is by far the hardest so far atm. My garage is flooded due to the amount of water that im using. hehe

    If they had one avaliable in adelaide, then sure i would think about it. Would be wicked to transport parts ie bonnet/bodykit/wheels around in that thing. Imagine the looks you would get driving down a street like rundle st in that thing. Hehehe

    i heard that tt is the thing they that the police try to defect you for. That's why i have an in-built tt in my alarm.

    while i was at it - taking photo's, i took some of my bro's 32 and dad's stateman (holden boys like to refer to them as stato/barge. =/ )

    sam - heres what ive been able to do so far. As you can see from the fenders there is alot of colour under the final one that was painted. What's your opinion on my sanding - please me kind. =D

    the wing hasnt been painted yet thats why its black not b/c i painted it like that. Came like that from a group buy.
