  1. Checked for flow. Was fine. But hardly drives now. Removed walbro fuel pump, turns out the fuel pump filter inside tank has fallen off. Guessing the fuel pump has filled up with dirt now and is rooted. Will get a new one and try and see how that goes
  2. I have grounded the fuel pump to the chassis giving it 12v constantly. Fuel pump still makes a bad noise when starting and am still having the detoninating problem. I replaced the battery and that fixed it or like 10 minutes but not its doing it more
  3. I'll pull it out from after fuel filter, hopefully that'll work?
  4. Fuel filter is new, I'll have to take the pump out and have a look I guess. It does make like a blocked noise. Is just weird how it did it after flat battery. how can you test it by going into a bucket, I have no clue how much flow is supposed to be right. I used stock wiring. But no problems before tune or after tune so wouldn't think it'd be that? thanks for your help
  5. R33 loss of power (fuel pump) Hi guys, having problems with my r33, fueling issue I believe. I've had a walbro 255 fuel pump installed for over 1000kms and haven't had problems besides it taking a bit of throttle and a few extra turns of starter motor to start. But that's ok. The problem im facing now is loss of power with the foot down. No loss in boost still running 10psi fine. Also a very loud noise when it primes at key turn, not a squeal sound quite like a quiet boat horn. I've tried having a full tank but still doing it. I'm wondering if fuel pump came off the rail? I did have a flat battery today, but I've driven it for over an hour and still doing it. The loud prime and loss of power wasn't there before I had a flat battery. I also caused a little spark near horn when installed new horn. But I doubt that could of caused anything but thought I'd throw it in thanks in advance mitch

Hey guys, Just wondering what power I'd be looking at with the following mods on my r33 s1; 3.5" turbo back, highflow turbo (hypergear, G3 with high pressure actuator), splitfires, 550cc injectors, z32 afm, r32 ecu nistune, fmic, blitz pod, walbro 255 Any rough guesses from previous experiences or if you know roughly in kw? thanks guys

  13. How would a boost leak cause misfiring?
  14. Update: have cleaned afm, ran stock boost from inlet piping straight to actuator. Have tried both my sets of coil packs, new plugs. So it can't be rnr or spark related. Any other suggestions? Ignitor?

  16. Spent all day searching haha. How much of the coil do you wrap with electrical tape?

  18. Okay thanks for that, if it nots the AFM or the fact it's running higher boost with a fmic, would you definitely say it's coilpacks? Since I've replaced pump and fuel filter already. Would you wrap coilpacks in electrical tape? And if so what part do you wrap? If your not sure all good man

  21. Yeah I'm going to put it through my apexi boost controller tomorrow arvo, which is turned off so it runs stock boost which it used to. This will tell me if r&r or coilpack
  22. Tried both coilpacks, and screwing boost tee fully which isn't making boost any lower then 9. Unsure why. Might have to plumb it back through my apexi boost controller which used to run stock boost 5-7psi. Will give that a shot tomorrow, if no luck, will try and tape coilpacks or look for cracks in OEM ones. Will R&R still occur when I lower the boost? I know it's running rich because I get 200-250km tank and that's not even thrashing it
  23. Doubt it's coilpacks as it wasnt like it before I bumped up boost, installed fmic and full exhaust
  24. Don't really want to spend $500 if I don't have too. Might try afm cleaner and see what tuner does. Do you recommend using that silicon or electrical tape around coils as a resolution?
