WHEN I PUT MY UNI FILTER ON IT MADE A GREAT DIFFERENCE, UNTIL THE CAR STARTED WARMING UP, SO I MADE A PARTITION WALL USING SHEET METAL, COVERING IT WITH A HEAT INSULATION MATERIAL WHICH I BELEIVE THEY USE IN ROOFS, DID THE JOB, KEEPS THE HOT AIR OUT

IIVE GOT A DRIVER SIDE DOOR THATS FROM A SERIES 1, ITS GOT THE MOTOR INSIDE, FIRSTLY, WHATS THE PROBLEM WITH URS, R U SURE ITS THE MOTOR, DOES URE WINDOW GO UP OR DOWN AT ALL

can somebody answer this question, because the RTA cant? ive got a NSW liscence, when i drove up to Qld, the police up there were nice enough to take a snap shot of me doing 165km in a 100 zone, now what i want to know is, do i loose my liscence automatically for three months because i was caught doing over 45, i know i loose the 6points, and also the new rule in nsw, when u get caught drivinng over 130km you loose ur liscence for 1month automatically, does that apply? Because qld dont have that rule and i wasnt in nsw when i was doing over 130, somebody enlighten me

my r33 gtst cuts out at 190, thats the quickest ive been in it. i got pulled over coming back from Qld, i was clocked at 189km. when i drove to Qld and back i sat on about 160-180 and she purred like a kitten, had no probs overtaking anybody. the quikest ive driven was in my old car which was a 88honda prelude and i took that to 245km coming back from canberra driving half in the overtaking lane and half in the shoulder because sunday freeway drivers pull out without indicating, ive also did 240 in the eastern distributer when they first opened it in my dads mates porshe911 rs carrera, its fun at the time, but i try not 2 do it, very dangerous, ive once had to slam the brakes on my skyline at 180 and then u think is it worth it, not only that when i bought my skyline i had 12 points, ive managed to loose 25points, a hell of a long time of the road

on the exhaust pipe coming after the turbo u have ur o2 sensor, from memory on the r33 gtst its the middle wire

2 1/2 years, r33gts pretty battered but still going strong

there ihi turbos, which r made with hitachi components, not much u can do except to get the turbo converted to a garrett, and then u can get it hiflowed

my gtst had a ihi turbo, ceramic with steel bearings, couldnt run much boost withit it, about 9psi. t28 took it of and took it 2 garret and they turned it into a t3/t4, now i run about 10/11psi and the car screams, i need to put a cooler on if i want 2 run more boost, also it feels like the car doesnt strain as much as it did b4

to pull the turbo off it will prob. take two hours, but to put the ****er back on it will prob. take about 5hrs. ive done it b4, its not much fun, unless ur going 2 get ur turbo highflowed, then u may enjoy doing the job.

if u need a hand 2 pull the display out pm me, its pretty easy bro, it shouldnt take you no longer than 30mins, my display was stuck turned on, the off button was ****ed

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, MINE WOUDLNT GO DOWN, ITS MOST LIKELY THIS BLACK MODULE, PULL THE DOOR TRIM OFF AND FOLLOW THE WIRING TO A BLACK BOX ABOUT THE SIZE OF A NOKIA MOBILE[8210], GO 2 A WRECKER THAT HAS ONE ASK IF U CAN TRY IT B4 U BY TO C IF ITS THE PROBLEM. THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM IN THE GTST. PS.DEPENDS WHAT MODEL UV GOT, NOT ALL OF THE SKYLINES R THE SAME, EG SERIES1 OR 2

ITS A BIG JOB, U DONT DO IT RITE AND UR WATER WILL GO RUSTY, FIRST OF ALL U NEED TO USE NISSAN COOLANT, CALL A RADIATOR SPECIALIST AND SEE HOW MUCH THEY WILL CHARGE U IT LOOKS EASY, BUT U HAVE TO MAKE SURE U DONT PUT 2 MUCH COOLANT IN OR VICE VERSA 2 MUCH WATER.ETC

TAKE IT 2 PEDDERS, IF U WANT THE JOB DONE CHEAP U HAVE TO PULL YOUR BACK SEATS, REAR PARCEL SHELF OUT 2 GET THE SHOCKS OUT, SO IF U TAKE IT IN SOMEWERE AND UVE GOT EVERYTHING OUT YOULL PROBABLY SAVE $100 ON LABOUR COSTS, ONCE U HAVE PULLED EVERY THING APART IT ONLY TAKES ABOUT TEN MINUTES TO PULL THE SHOCKS OUT

I DO MY OIL CHANGES EVERY 7500KM'S, I US MOTUL OIL, ITS ABOUT $80 4 5LITRES. IF U R DOING UR RADIATOR I RECCOMEND U USE NISSAN LONGLIFE COOLANT AS THE SKYLINES ARE SENSETIVE TO THE COOLANT U USE, OH AND DONT FORGET TO CHANGE THE OIL FILTER PS. I DO THE SERVICE AT HOME AND IT TAKES ME ABOUT 1HR

IVE GOT THE SAME PROBLEM, I BELEIVE AND A FEW MECHANICS TELL ME THE AIR CON NEEDS REGASSING. NEVER HAD THE PROBLEM B4, IM GETTING MINE RE GASSED NEXT WEEK SO ILL KEEP YOU INFORMED
