You can get springs from L & T venebles, there's one in Wangara. They're like $2 for a pack of 4.
I used them in my R32. You don't NEED the little carbon bit, it runs fine with just the spring.

Put the top half of your foot on the brake. The bottom half give it gas till about 4K then ease the clutch out quickly, floor it to get it spinning well then ease off till it sits there comforably.

A bit off topic but my KTM has a WIseco forgy in it and it clatters like a bitch when its cold and a little when its warm. I was told its just the construction of the piston?
Dunno if its the same for cars though

Yeah that's what I mean, unplug and plug one at a time.
It will be white yes. You can also get an 02 tester. Mechanics have them. You stick them in the radiator inlet when you remove the cap and pump it a few times. If you have a stuffed head, the liquid inside turns to green from blue.
Takes about 10 seconds to check.
Coil packs for sure.
Unplug each one whilst its running warm. When you find the pack that makes no difference to the way its running, you've found the dud.
If it were head/head gasket there would be steam out of the exhaust and oil in coolant/coolant in oil
I bet its the coil packs, one or more is stuffed its a common R32 problem.
It may be nothing to do with the lifters.
When I had a SR20DET Silvia, I used Magnatec once cause I was poor one oil change. The engine made a racket, sounded like a timing chain rattle, never actually found out what it was but it sounded seedy.
I dumped it, went back to mobil 1 and it was fine. Bizarre.
Are you sure its not just the injectors? Nissan motors especially the SR20DET have shockingly loud injectors. The RB20DET does as well, just not as loud. Stick your head down there to see its them pulsing....
If it is them, its normal...
