  1. To clarify its the pipe that goes from the intercooler, passes nearest the crank angle sensor and into the crossover pipe with the factory BOV. I'm after the stock one with no adapter or hole from an aftermarket BOV. I'm getting rid of my Blitz. Here is the pic, its the pipe in on the right in the photo, http://www.rb20det.com/Ferruh.jpg

  4. Hey guys, sorry if this has been covered but I couldn't find anything. Is it possible to take the head light apart? like crack it open? I need to re adjust them but When i turn the adjusters they spin so I'm guessing they've run out of thread... My lights are really bad but they point too far down, about 2 metres in front of the car and are very focused instead of being flooded.... I need to point them up a bit. cheers!

  7. overfilling the oil will make it leak more obviously but mine and a few other R32s I know leak from the rocker cover, its fairly common. Mine leaks most from the rear passenger side. I had the same problem on my Silvia and ended up using a high temp good quality sealant and it fixed it nicely for the 2 years I had the car. I will do the same with the R32. As for the idle. Ever since I imported mine the auto choke doesn't kick in on its own, if you start it from cold it stutters and dies, I have to help it with the throttle. Its something to do with the throttle body bypass being dirty. Again, something I will do when I can be bothered. The warning light could be a major problem so if its staying on I'd advise not driving it. What light is it? the one on the oil pressure guage or the one at the bottom?

  10. Yeah R32 chassis rails are weak as piss, bent mine a little... learnt that lesson.
  11. R32 oil pressure guages are crap. Most read all over the place and my frequently sits on zero. Don't worry about it unless the light comes on.
  12. did the diagnostics, all good. That leaves gas or compressor I guess. cheers for the help guys....
  13. No not for the aircon. How do you do that? All fuses are okay. How do you know if the big fuses in the engine bay are okay? the block style ones? sorry dunno what they're called.... I assumed the gas had leaked out but it was working perfectly one day, then the next is was completely warm...I would have thought it would have got worse slower then that. IT worked for 2 weeks after I got it re gassed.
  14. anyone know? could save me lots of diagnosis time if i know roughly what's wrong. The revs don't fluctuate at all either when you first turn the a/c on. the climate control is making all the right noises and such and its kicking it, just no cold air?
  15. Hey guys, Are R32s supposed to "click" when you turn the a/c on? I think mine used to but since the air con stuffed up I can't hear it click on anymore. I was just thinking it was the gas...
  16. Hey guys, I ripped my window seal in the top left corner on the drivers seal. It looks like the window has been closing on the wrong part and has eventually cracked the seal. Is this likely to happen again or is the seal just old and stuffed? How much are replacements? Is Nissan the only answer or do places like Spectrum keep spares for these cars? Anyone else have this problem? cheers!

  20. I had an exhaust with a Jasma plate and that was it. Seems they're just generic copies of well known ones. Mine sounded fantastic but was never able to work out who made it.
  21. Give Applied Instruments in Balcatta a call. They might be able to help. Depends if its the guage or the sendor unit. Either way they should be able to sort it out.
  22. I concur with low brake fluid. It might look okay but be low enough to set off the sensor. Top it up a little.
  23. its a Calibra, that's the problem. These have a pretty bad rep. Hall effect? never heard of it in mechanical terms... could be a bad igniter or simply your immobiliser playing up? Sounds silly, but immobilisers sometimes cause more problems then you'd beleive. Some immobilisers allow the car to turn over but not actually start, others stop everything.
