  1. Dead coil pack dude! Guarentee it. Take off the plug cover and unplug each one individually. The engine will run even rougher on each one. When you unplug the one that makes no difference you've found the stuffed one Mine did this when I imported it and as soon as it got warm the dodgy one would fail. good luck.
  2. Nah I can get some on the weekend though... I can explain it for now. You'll have to remove the two intercooler pipes between the turbo and the carbon canister to be able to get access to the wastegate actuator. I unhooked the hose from the wastegate actuator and then plugged this into the bottom of the boost controller. I then ran a length of fuel hose (what I had) from the side nipple on the boost controller to the wastegate actuator. The controller sits up right next to the passenger side strut tower. Took me a little while cause there is zero room to move near the turbo. Just took it out after that and it was just a matter of fine tuning. Be warned it does locate the boost controller within 8 inches of the exhaust housing and that gets hot after a couple of runs. A better idea might be to get a joiner thing that you can join two hoses together to bring the controller further away, might help in the fine tuning stages. Either way, it works fine and is well hidden out of prying eyes. If the boys wanna get down there to have a look they can be my guest he he EDIT: tried to get pics but you can't see anything, there's too much crap around it. Follow the instructions and you should be fine, its pretty straightforward.
  3. I have the same rattle from time to time but my steering lock is fine. I think its actually the speedo drive cable. only does it on cold mornings (every morning in perth at the moment)
  4. Hey dude, did you end up fixing this? My 32 is doing the same thing since I boosted it, only to 11PSI and its surging sometimes but not others..... Fuel pump access panel looks untouched so I think its the stocker in there still. Anyone wanna help out? much appreciated
  5. I do have one problem with the controller Mark, its upped the power and had caused my clutch to slip hardcore in 4th, might have to fix that he he. Still not over it, took it to work today, what a difference to before. (when the clutch grips)
  6. yeah that;s him, have you got a number for him, I lost it Need to get mine done soon. PM is fine, cheers
  7. I challenge anyone to prove the projectors are better. I have the so called N1 lights (pov pack) with decent 25% xtra Narva globes and with these and the fog lights on, it can't be beaten, they're veery bright. I used to have projectors and they were appalling. Hard to beleive they left the factory with them.
  8. Yeah I third or whatever the Kakimoto.....
  9. My 32 GTSt has a Tomei Lock kit, unfortunately I can't tell you what's entailed in it but the rear steering rack is still there and there's an interceptor on the hicas computer that turns the dash light off.
  10. hmmmm......Nah this guy was definately in Morley. About a year ago though. He was Peter too. Does this guy have a red Pintara Wagon? Surely there can't be two Peters that do tint.....(probably is actually, ha ha)
  11. I scabbed em off my mate who had a spare set from his last one. Dunno if my arms are stock though, they say PIAA on them so who knows. Most arms are pretty much the same so they should fit....
  12. a small amount of oil in the pipes/intake is normal. As long as its just a bit and not pouring out then its not the problem..
  13. Is this Peter that does it from his house? I think he's in Morley though? , gonna get mine done soon, he did my girlfriends Mirage. He's fantastic.
  14. Just a note to people. Remember the number Mark gives you! I bought a controller off him and it arrived no problems. He's doing the right thing by you so help him out a bit huh? anyone got any installation pics on an R32 GTSt? I think I'm right but would like to see someone elses to be sure..... installed mine today! Its running ~12PSI. Drops to 11PSI near redline though no fault of the boost controller more a turbo thing... Pulls very well, boost comes on no earlier but it does come on stronger. However I did give myself a 3rd degree burn on the dump after the runs trying to tighten the lock nut. oh well, you live and learn. cheers
  15. I have WRX wipers on my R32. Its a newer design that has two long thin metal blades holding the rubber in place rather then the little metal clip on the ends. The result is no flop when the wipers change direction and a clean wipe.
  16. Don't think you'll have a hard time finding one, they're everywhere in Perth.
  17. I think you'll find one or more of the contacts on the switch are gone. Take it apart and you'll see the 3 contacts. They should be the same length but one will be shorter. There's a thread somewhere on here about it.... Just stretch the shorter contact on the spring so its equal to the others and you're done. Happened on mine and this fixed it. Always seems to be the left headlight too. good luck.
  18. 1) The projectors are shit 2) Get normal pov pack lights
